Minnehaha Country Club operates two full-service, year-round restaurants, as well as a robust on-site catering/events operation. With some forecasted turnover we have opportunities in both our formal and casual restaurants. The positions are available immediately for the successful candidate. Minnehaha Country Club is Sioux Falls&rsquo; premier country club, operates year-round and serves membership of approximately 720 families. The Club features an immaculate championship 18-hole golf course and several of the finest restaurants in the region, as well as swimming, tennis, and fitness amenities.
Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>
Banquet servers are part-time/full-time and have a starting salary of $5.93 hourly+ Tips.</li></ul>
Education and/or Experience<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol.</li><li>
Minimum one year of server experience.</li><li>
Proven track record in successful food service experience.</li></ul>

Licenses and Special Requirements<ul><li>
ServSafe certification preferred.</li><li>
TAM Alcohol Server Training preferred.</li></ul>
Job Summary / Essential Functions
Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of the Players Grill spaces. Ensures timeliness of food service. Leads service personnel in delivering member and guest satisfaction and through consistently excellent service.
Job Tasks/Duties<ul><li>
Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.</li><li>
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.</li><li>
Makes sure that children are in the appropriate type of seat and are safe and secure.</li><li>
Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions.</li><li>
Fills glasses with ice water and suggests menu items.</li><li>
Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.</li><li>
Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.</li><li>
Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.</li><li>
Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.</li><li>
Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person.</li><li>
Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessary.</li><li>
Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each course and resets them with appropriate silverware.</li><li>
Presents dessert menus, suggests and serves dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks.</li><li>
Verifies accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks.</li><li>
Presents the bill.</li><li>
Handles all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.</li><li>
Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.</li><li>
Clears, cleans and resets tables that have been vacated.</li><li>
Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.</li><li>
Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.</li><li>
Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager.</li><li>
Turns in signed tip declaration form daily.</li><li>
Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.</li><li>
Consistently follows local and state laws and the club&rsquo;s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.</li><li>
Addresses management of member and guest complaints. Coordinates with management as needed.</li><li>
Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by Club Management.</li></ul>
Physical Demands and Work Environment<ul><li>
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.</li><li>
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds individually.</li><li>
Push, pull or lift 160 pounds or more (equivalent of 1/2bbl beer keg) with assistance.</li><li>
Continuous repetitive motions.</li><li>

Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>
Windows Restaurant is looking for a full-time, experienced bartender and has a starting salary of $11.00 DOE plus Tips.</li><li>
This position would also work occasional server shifts as needed. $7.00 DOE plus tips.</li></ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.</li><li>
Maintains records of liquors, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.</li><li>
Cleans and locks the bar area according to prescribed closing procedures.</li><li>
Ensures that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards from occurring, and takes precautions against possible spoilage.</li><li>
Serves drinks to members and guests seated at lounge tables in the absence of a beverage server.</li><li>
Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures.</li><li>
Presents the bill.</li><li>
Handles all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.</li><li>
