<div>The Minnehaha Country Club is celebrating our 121st year of operations, and we are currently seeking passionate and team-oriented restaurant professionals to join our team. Minnehaha Country Club operates two full-service, year-round restaurants, as well as a robust on-site catering/events operation. With some forecasted turnover we have opportunities in both our formal and casual restaurants. The positions are available immediately for the successful candidate. Minnehaha Country Club is Sioux Falls&rsquo; premier country club, operates year-round and serves membership of approximately 740 families. The Club features an immaculate championship 18-hole golf course and several of the finest restaurants in the region, as well as swimming, tennis, and fitness amenities.
Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>
Windows Restaurant is looking for a full-time, experienced bartender and has a starting salary of $11.00 DOE plus Tips.</li><li>
This position would also work occasional server shifts as needed. $7.00 DOE plus tips.</li></ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.</li><li>
Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.</li><li>
Follows set-up procedures.</li><li>
Prepares garnishes, fruits mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.</li><li>
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.</li><li>
Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks to members and guests and mixes and prepares drinks ordered by food and beverage servers according to approved standard recipes.</li><li>
Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.</li><li>
Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.</li><li>
Maintains records of liquors, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.</li><li>
Cleans and locks the bar area according to prescribed closing procedures.</li><li>
Ensures that all food items are correctly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated to prevent any health or safety hazards from occurring, and takes precautions against possible spoilage.</li><li>
Serves drinks to members and guests seated at lounge tables in the absence of a beverage server.</li><li>
Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures.</li><li>
Presents the bill.</li><li>
Handles all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.</li><li>
Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.</li><li>
Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.</li><li>
Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Captain; Dining Room Supervisor; Dining Room Manager; or Outlet Manager.</li><li>
Turns in signed tip declaration form weekly.</li><li>
Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.</li><li>
Consistently follows local and state laws and the club&rsquo;s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.</li><li>
Attends Department meetings as required.</li><li>
Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by Club Management.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Experience and Abilities<ul><li>
Greet and acknowledge members and guests.</li><li>
Is knowledgeable about the menu and wine list.</li><li>
Stocks bar and completes other pre-opening requirements.</li><li>
Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.</li><li>
Skilled at slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary.</li><li>
Complies with basic safety and sanitation requirements.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of club&rsquo;s POS system or comparable POS system preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.</li><li>
Cleans bar and completes other pre-closing requirements.</li><li>
Learn members&rsquo; names and their special preferences.</li><li>
Able to work flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, evenings, and split shifts.</li><li>
Must have good communications skills and a dynamic, outgoing personality.</li><li>
Good organizational and follow-through skills.</li><li>
Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.</li></ul>
Physical Demands and Work Environment<ul><li>
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.</li><li>
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Continuous repetitive motions.</li><li>
This is a typical professional kitchen work environment, which may be hot, humid, and noisy.</li><li>
Some outdoor work required as dictated by specific events.</li><li>
