Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Application Developer . This position can be located on the Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, or Fergus Falls campus . This position is eligible for telework.
This position exists to design, develop, modify, maintain, and support responsive web-based applications used by students, faculty, and staff at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State).
This position supports the Application Services team in delivering enterprise applications operating within established frameworks, including Drupal CMS, Linux (Ubuntu), Docker-based environments, and Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining code, testing applications, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to ensure systems are reliable, secure, accessible, and aligned with Minnesota State standards.
This role contributes to the development and enhancement of web applications and systems by assisting with application design, participating in deployment processes, and supporting integrations and workflows. The position emphasizes application support, maintenance, and incremental improvement, while contributing to ongoing development and process optimization efforts.
Work is performed under general supervision, applying established standards and practices. The position exercises independent judgment in troubleshooting, implementation, and support activities, and collaborates with business units and IT staff to deliver effective, maintainable, and user-centered solutions.

Application Support and Operations.
<ul><li>Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications and related services within established standards, architectures, and processes to ensure reliability, availability, and usability
</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across multi-tier application environments using established tools and practices
</li><li>Perform root cause analysis of application defects, performance issues, and integration problems to ensure timely and accurate resolution
</li><li>Apply patches, updates, bug fixes, and incremental enhancements to maintain system stability and performance
</li><li>Participate in application deployment activities using established development and hosting processes
</li><li>Monitor application performance and respond to incidents and service requests in a timely and effective manner

Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Cosmetology Laboratory Assistant . This position is located on the Wadena campus .
This position exists to provide support to the Cosmetology faculty directly related to learning, reinforcement, or guiding new technical skills to students in the Cosmetology, Nail Technician, and Esthetician programs in the clinical salon.
This position is designed to provide daily supervision, demonstration, tutoring, and perform other related work as required in order to ensure the safety of students and clients.
Customer Service.
On a daily basis, live the mission, vision and values of M State to ensure a positive experience for all students and stakeholders. Service to M State students and stakeholders is a core component of the position and work responsibilities.
Skills Orientation and Safety. Provide students or student groups&rsquo; orientation on tools, equipment, materials, or supplies. Demonstrate the proper and safe use or necessary steps to complete a task when using lab tools, equipment, materials, or supplies to ensure student and client safety and avoid equipment mishandling
Support &amp; Training. Assist or tutor students in order to answer questions by providing examples to clarify the tasks, drilling the students on concepts or rules, suggesting alternative methods or techniques to problem solving.
Supervision Monitor student progress as requested by faculty by proctoring placement and progress tests, and observing students&rsquo; work. Supervise student performance on a daily basis.
Lab Equipment (safety &amp; preparation). Preparation: Prepare the lab so that supplies and equipment are ready for student laboratory work. Discuss the requirements for each lab set up with the instructor(s) in advance. Security &amp; Safety: Oversee the security of the lab so that equipment and materials are used properly and kept safe. Keep records of equipment used in the lab. Monitor consumption of supplies by students. Protect equipment and supplies from use by unauthorized persons, implement procedures which provide for the security of the lab and students&rsquo; work. Regularly conduct tests of the working condition of the equipment. With appropriate supervision perform repair and maintenance of lab equipment to ensure that it is fully operational and safe to use. Order major repair service from vendors.
Monitor and maintain supplies. Regularly inventory supplies and equipment on hand. Discuss supply and equipment needs with instructor(s). Ensure that sufficient quantities of supplies are available and prepared to perform proper skills for demonstrations, student practices, and tests.
Support for campus and college operations. Recognition of broad and varied professional responsibilities which include but are not limited to support for campus and college operations, such as: front desk coverage, registration events, Spartan Welcome Days, Commencement, this is not an exhaustive list. Support the operation of college and campus Student Services operational area(s). Serve on campus, college and community committees as assigned, approved and appropriate that seek to enhance the student experience. Other related duties as assigned by the Dean for the School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing. 
 
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner. Assist faculty in the advising and enrollment of prospective and current students. Assist faculty in the assignment of clients and/or appointments to ensure students are meeting skill requirements.

Dakota County Technical College seeks an temporary, part-time Practical Nursing Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Faculty members at Dakota County Technical College are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to enhance their disciplines, promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration, and advance the college mission. This temporary, part-time assignment includes teaching PNSG 1600: Clinical 1 and PSNG 1620: Clinical 2 during the 2026&ndash;2027 academic year. Responsibilities:

</li><li>Faculty assigned 5 or more credits total: $43,067 - $96,601 Annually (Based upon 1.0 FTE of 32 credits per years. Pay will be prorated, based upon credit load). Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract, and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule.
</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in nursing or a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing if the graduate degree is not in Nursing.
</li><li>A nursing program director must hold a graduate degree in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education, public health nursing or a nursing clinical specialty.
</li></ul>Occupational Experience Requirement
<ul><li>Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
</li><li>As a registered nurse at the professional level, experientially qualified to accomplish the mission, goals, and expected student and faculty outcomes; including experiential preparation in the areas the faculty will teach.
</li></ul>Recency Requirement
<ul><li>One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
</li></ul>Professional Requirement
<ul><li>Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) with current registration in Minnesota.
</li></ul>Other Requirements
<ul><li>Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments.
