Job Description
The employee in this position shall drive the Maverick Shuttle circulating throughout the campus picking up and dropping off people hying to get to buildings within MSU's campus core and/or back to distant parking lots (e.g., Lots 1-2 and Lots 20-23).
During the periods when classes are not in session and during the summer months this employee shall assist other departments within Facilities Management, including Traffic Control, Receiving and Delivery Services (deliver packages, office moves, surplus pickups), and /or Postal Services (pickup and delivery of mail).
Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>Working knowledge of state laws and regulations relating to the operation of passenger cars and light trucks.
</li><li>Ability to drive all types of passenger vehicles or light trucks; understand and carry out simple instructions.
</li><li>The employee must possess a valid driver's license (class D) as well as DVS records check with an acceptable rating.
</li><li>Because of lifting needs associated with package deliveries and traffic cones, employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
</li></ul>Preferred Qualification

</li><li>Mankato City Transit buses use the same roadways and drop off sites so the Maverick Shuttle should not interfere with or follow too closely to City buses.

Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Recruitment and Retention . This position is located on the Fergus Falls campus. This position is eligible for telework.
To provide administrative support for the Vice President of Recruitment and Retention and to ensure excellence in the student affairs division in providing services to students, faculty, and staff.

Customer Service.
On a daily basis, live the mission, vision and values of M State to ensure a positive experience for all students and stakeholders. Service to M State students and stakeholders is a core component of the position and work responsibilities.
Serve as Assistant to the Vice President of Recruitment and Retention, providing primary support in their leadership role for the development and implementation of academic programs, student services, and community involvement.
Arrange, schedule, and revise appointments, conferences, and meetings as well as maintain calendars. Ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for out-of-town travel. Serve as a communication contact with internal and external constituents, answering inquiries in person, via e-mail, or by telephone. Monitor office workflow and determine work priorities while working independently. Attend staff/administrative committee meetings as assigned; create agendas; create and distribute notes of meetings. Solicit data, assemble information, prepare, and edit reports for internal constituents and external agencies as requested. Prepare purchase orders as needed. Pay invoices in a timely manner. Work with the Business Office to close POs at the end of the academic year or when funds are depleted. Assist Vice President&rsquo;s direct reports with travel, forms, expense reports, and other projects as needed. Build Concurrent Course Surveys. Pull and track concurrent course survey results and send to high school instructors. Modify, monitor, and build Concurrent Courses and changes in Term Course and update FWM.
Support for the Athletics Department.
Assist with the hiring of coaches, maintain agreements and records, and organize evaluations. Coordinate logistics and organize processes. Manage expenditures related to Athletics. Set up recurring Purchase Orders for new fiscal years Pay all invoices related to those purchase orders Pay all referees, umpires, game workers, and get them the proper setup link if not a vendor in the state system. Submit all authorizations for coaches for all travel. Assist with or create expense reports for coaches. Assist coaches and athletic directors one-on-one with Workday processes. Order supplies. Work with the M State Reservation Specialist to set up contracts for OT Coaches &ndash; transportation. Create Athletic Rosters for home games.
Support for campus and college operations.
Recognition of broad and varied professional responsibilities, which include but are not limited to support for campus and college operations, such as front desk coverage, registration events, Spartan Welcome Days, Commencement; this is not an exhaustive list. Support the operation of the college and campus Student Services operational area(s) beyond the student affairs office. Serve on campus, college, and community committees as assigned, approved and appropriate that seek to enhance the student experience. Other related duties as assigned by the AVP.
Perform other clerical duties.
On occasion, this position will assist the Fergus Falls Leadership with clerical assistance. Collect data, assemble information, prepare, and edit reports. Proofread materials, memos, and correspondence for syntax, spelling, grammatical, and mathematical accuracy before release and distribution. Assist AVP in the preparation and distribution of formal and confidential documents. Maintain files, reports, records, and other materials in useful order.

Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>Customer service practices and principles are sufficient to identify each customer&rsquo;s needs and meet quality standards for services that result in customer satisfaction.

Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Advising . This position is located on the Moorhead campus .
This position exists to provides coordination, lead work, and operational support for academic advising services across M State. Working in partnership with the Director of Student Success and campus partners, this position helps implement and continuously improve advising strategies, systems, and practices that support institutional enrollment, retention, persistence, and completion goals.
The Associate Director provides lead work and operational coordination for advising initiatives, including advising delivery models, student engagement strategies, CRM-supported advising activities, and advising-related student success efforts. This position collaborates with Student Affairs leadership, Enrollment Management, faculty, and Institutional Research to support the implementation of data-informed advising practices aligned with the college&rsquo;s Strategic Enrollment Management and student success priorities.
In addition to operational leadership responsibilities, the Associate Director of Advising maintains an assigned advising caseload and provides direct advising support to students. Maintaining a caseload ensures the position remains closely connected to student needs, supports complex academic planning, and informs ongoing improvements to advising services and student support strategies.

</li><li>Facilitate comprehensive academic planning, utilizing a thorough knowledge of college curriculum and resources, based on students&rsquo; individual needs, goals, values, and resources to ensure success, persistence, and goal attainment.
</li><li>Provide targeted services and engage in proactive advising with specific advising groups (ex. single parents, veterans, ELL, selective admission program candidates, PSEO, online) allowing for a successful transition to and from M State.
</li><li>Coach students in identifying and overcoming academic barriers by identifying available options, discussing consequences, and connecting them with resources.
</li><li>Identify, explore, and educate on non-traditional options to meet course outcomes/credit needs (ex. credit for prior learning, course substitutions, credit by exam, CLEP, courses at other MN State colleges).
</li><li>Review program requirements with individual students to confirm graduation requirements are met and discuss next steps in their academic journey.
</li><li>Provide financial aid explanation, advising, and advocacy.
</li><li>Document student meetings, interactions, and correspondence in a customer relations management system to allow for seamless communication throughout the institution.
</li><li>Collaborate with academic leadership and faculty to support student academic planning and progression.
</li></ul>Provide coordination and lead work for academic advising services across the college .

Minimum Qualifications

Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Application Developer . This position can be located on the Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, or Fergus Falls campus . This position is eligible for telework.
This position exists to design, develop, modify, maintain, and support responsive web-based applications used by students, faculty, and staff at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State).
This position supports the Application Services team in delivering enterprise applications operating within established frameworks, including Drupal CMS, Linux (Ubuntu), Docker-based environments, and Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining code, testing applications, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to ensure systems are reliable, secure, accessible, and aligned with Minnesota State standards.
This role contributes to the development and enhancement of web applications and systems by assisting with application design, participating in deployment processes, and supporting integrations and workflows. The position emphasizes application support, maintenance, and incremental improvement, while contributing to ongoing development and process optimization efforts.
Work is performed under general supervision, applying established standards and practices. The position exercises independent judgment in troubleshooting, implementation, and support activities, and collaborates with business units and IT staff to deliver effective, maintainable, and user-centered solutions.

Position Overview
M State is accepting applications for an Cosmetology Laboratory Assistant . This position is located on the Wadena campus .
This position exists to provide support to the Cosmetology faculty directly related to learning, reinforcement, or guiding new technical skills to students in the Cosmetology, Nail Technician, and Esthetician programs in the clinical salon.
This position is designed to provide daily supervision, demonstration, tutoring, and perform other related work as required in order to ensure the safety of students and clients.
Customer Service.

Skills Orientation and Safety. Provide students or student groups&rsquo; orientation on tools, equipment, materials, or supplies. Demonstrate the proper and safe use or necessary steps to complete a task when using lab tools, equipment, materials, or supplies to ensure student and client safety and avoid equipment mishandling
Support &amp; Training. Assist or tutor students in order to answer questions by providing examples to clarify the tasks, drilling the students on concepts or rules, suggesting alternative methods or techniques to problem solving.
Supervision Monitor student progress as requested by faculty by proctoring placement and progress tests, and observing students&rsquo; work. Supervise student performance on a daily basis.
Lab Equipment (safety &amp; preparation). Preparation: Prepare the lab so that supplies and equipment are ready for student laboratory work. Discuss the requirements for each lab set up with the instructor(s) in advance. Security &amp; Safety: Oversee the security of the lab so that equipment and materials are used properly and kept safe. Keep records of equipment used in the lab. Monitor consumption of supplies by students. Protect equipment and supplies from use by unauthorized persons, implement procedures which provide for the security of the lab and students&rsquo; work. Regularly conduct tests of the working condition of the equipment. With appropriate supervision perform repair and maintenance of lab equipment to ensure that it is fully operational and safe to use. Order major repair service from vendors.
Monitor and maintain supplies. Regularly inventory supplies and equipment on hand. Discuss supply and equipment needs with instructor(s). Ensure that sufficient quantities of supplies are available and prepared to perform proper skills for demonstrations, student practices, and tests.
Support for campus and college operations. Recognition of broad and varied professional responsibilities which include but are not limited to support for campus and college operations, such as: front desk coverage, registration events, Spartan Welcome Days, Commencement, this is not an exhaustive list. Support the operation of college and campus Student Services operational area(s). Serve on campus, college and community committees as assigned, approved and appropriate that seek to enhance the student experience. Other related duties as assigned by the Dean for the School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing. 
 
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner. Dakota County Technical College seeks an temporary, part-time Practical Nursing Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Faculty members at Dakota County Technical College are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to enhance their disciplines, promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration, and advance the college mission. This temporary, part-time assignment includes teaching PNSG 1600: Clinical 1 and PSNG 1620: Clinical 2 during the 2026&ndash;2027 academic year. The teaching load is anticipated to be 8 credits per term in both the fall and spring semesters. The assignment start date is August 24, 2026. Instruction will be delivered off-site at clinical locations.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Teach Practical Nursing clinicals (Clinical I and Clinical II).
</li><li>Instructor is responsible for all activities related to teaching and learning including, but not limited to: instructional planning, curriculum development, student evaluation and records, classroom/climate preparation and management, interpersonal relations, promote safety in all aspects of program activities, participate in professional development experiences, work as an effective team member of the department, maintenance of professional skills and credentials, and participate on college.
</li></ul>Salary Range
<ul><li>Faculty assigned less than 5 credits: Per credit rate of $775 - $1650.
</li><li>Faculty assigned 5 or more credits total: $43,067 - $96,601 Annually (Based upon 1.0 FTE of 32 credits per years. Pay will be prorated, based upon credit load). Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract, and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office. Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule.
</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in nursing or a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing if the graduate degree is not in Nursing.
</li><li>A nursing program director must hold a graduate degree in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education, public health nursing or a nursing clinical specialty.
</li></ul>Occupational Experience Requirement
<ul><li>Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
</li><li>As a registered nurse at the professional level, experientially qualified to accomplish the mission, goals, and expected student and faculty outcomes; including experiential preparation in the areas the faculty will teach.
</li></ul>Recency Requirement
<ul><li>One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
</li></ul>Professional Requirement
<ul><li>Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) with current registration in Minnesota.
</li></ul>Other Requirements
<ul><li>Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments.
