Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Print Production / Graphics Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing visually compelling designs for print and digital media, ensuring brand consistency, and managing production workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in graphic design principles, proficiency with industry-standard tools, and experience in both print and digital design projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and multimedia projects within a collaborative environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conceptualize and develop engaging visual content for print advertising, signage, packaging, and promotional materials.</li><li>Design digital assets including web graphics, social media visuals, motion graphics, and UI elements.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to create cohesive visual identities and branding strategies.</li><li>Prepare artwork for production, ensuring color management, layout accuracy, and adherence to technical specifications.</li><li>Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Sketch, Figma, and other design tools to produce high-quality designs.</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Edit videos or create motion graphics using Adobe After Effects or similar software as needed.</li><li>Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and incorporate principles of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.</li><li>Assist with photo manipulation, digital art creation, and sign manufacturing processes when required.</li><li>Maintain organized project files and documentation within content management systems or WordPress platforms.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing print and digital projects.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential; experience with After Effects and Sketch is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with web design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus for UI/UX projects.</li><li>Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, photo manipulation, and content management systems enhances versatility.</li><li>Understanding of branding strategies, marketing principles, and sign manufacturing processes is advantageous.</li><li>Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate creative concepts effectively.</li><li>Experience working on diverse projects including logo design, layout design, typesetting, digital art creation, and print advertising is highly desirable. Print production/ Graphics designer

Downtown Harrisburg Print Shop is seeking a Print Production/Graphic Design Customer Service professional with at least 3 years of prior experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate must have strong graphic design, layout and print production skills and the ability to learn and grow with our company. He or she must have experience with Adobe-based graphic programs, digital presses, and print finishing.Duties of this position will include:<ul><li>Operating and maintaining digital presses and bindery equipment.</li><li>Preparing &amp; assembling images, illustrations and copying and managing layout for printing.</li><li>Effectively managing production schedules and production equipment.</li><li>Meeting with clients to conceptualize and design various printed materials, direct mail campaigns and promotional items.</li><li>Working closely with other employees to assist with customer required directives.</li><li>Completing multiple tasks on multiple printers at the same time to maximize the workflow process.</li><li>Keeping the work order system up to date and always organized.</li><li>Ensuring all quality standards are being met by sampling, viewing, and checking jobs, in both the printing and finishing processes.</li><li>Maintaining all inventory levels of paper, toner, and all related consumables in the bindery department.</li><li>Maintaining all printing and output devices by placing service calls to the appropriate service technicians.</li><li>Regular, daily attendance is an essential function of this position.</li><li>The ability to complete tasks independently in a fast-paced, quick turn environment.</li></ul>Qualifications Required for this position:<ul><li>A minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in graphic design, print production and print finishing.</li><li>Strong computer and internet skills</li><li>Proven expertise with Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)</li><li>The ability to optimize workload, prioritize various projects and maximize the production workflow.</li><li>Extreme attention to detail in the designing, proofreading and copy editing of all print jobs.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal communication skills when interacting with both clients and fellow employees.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
