Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Secretary/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our church office. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, answer phone calls, and provide exceptional customer support. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will ensure smooth daily operations, support office management tasks, and create a positive experience for visitors and church staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise in a dynamic environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a professional first impression</li><li>Answer phone calls efficiently, screening calls and forwarding messages promptly</li><li>Assist with calendar management, including scheduling meetings and coordinating group activities</li><li>Provide customer support by responding to inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and courtesy</li><li>Process incoming mail</li><li>Main the church website</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or reception roles with strong organizational skills</li><li>Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Strong phone etiquette</li><li>Experience in customer service or personal assistant roles is preferred</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required</li></ul>Join us as a Secretary/Receptionist and play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting our daily ministries.
