Job Summary Full Time Senior Accountant with strong financial and analytical skills with proficiency using technology, Microsoft Office applications, and ERP systems. SAP and Tableau reporting a plus. This person must be meticulous, detail oriented, and will support the Accounting Manager and Assistant Accounting Manager with a focus on Financial Reporting, audit, compliance, and tax. Hybrid position. Full time hourly with benefits.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain the general ledger and trial balance</li><li>Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks including journal entries, COGS analysis, inventory management, variance analysis, bank and account reconciliations, fixed assets management, and G&amp;A analysis</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports</li><li>Maintain P&amp;L to ensure proper recording of Sales, COGS, SG&amp;A, Sales Tax, and other accounts while identifying discrepancies</li><li>Regular filings of Sales/Use Tax, Property Tax monthly, quarterly, or annually as needed</li><li>Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and corporate policies</li><li>Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and income tax filings</li><li>Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and supporting documentation.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workpapers, reports, and efficiency</li><li>Perform ad hoc projects as needed</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5-7+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or higher accounting role (public or corporate accounting)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite</li><li>SAP ERP with SAP Reports/Tableau preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of US GAAP, and IFRS</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial analysis (BI Tools and AI)</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Manufacturing experience a plus</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and time management</li><li>Self-motivated and driven</li><li>CPA/CMA a plus</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>8-hour shift Monday to Friday with overtime during the month end close</li></ul>Pay: $43.27 - $45.67 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Costa Mesa, California 92626
