Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who share a dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Professional to join our team at our furniture factory. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in upholstery techniques and a keen eye for detail. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that our furniture pieces are upholstered to the highest standards, meeting both aesthetic and functional requirements.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Upholster a variety of furniture pieces including sofas, chairs, ottomans, and other upholstered items according to design specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Cut, sew, and assemble fabric or leather materials to cover furniture frames.</li><li>Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.</li><li>Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of materials and tools.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role, preferably in a furniture manufacturing setting.</li><li>Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including fabric cutting, sewing, and pattern matching.</li><li>Knowledge of different upholstery materials and their characteristics.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces.</li><li>Upholding high standards of safety in the workplace.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Vocational training or certification in upholstery or a related field.</li><li>Experience working with a variety of upholstery materials, including leather, fabric, and vinyl.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial sewing machines and other upholstery tools and equipment.</li><li>A passion for furniture design and craftsmanship.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and advancement.</li><li>A dynamic and collaborative work environment.</li><li>The chance to contribute to the creation of high-quality, innovative furniture pieces.</li></ul>If you are a skilled Upholstery Professional looking to join a dynamic team and contribute to the creation of exceptional furniture pieces, we would love to hear from you!
