<div>The Freelance Production Manager plays a critical role in supporting daily studio operations, ensuring seamless execution across multiple studios and control rooms. This position serves as a central point of coordination between production, operations, engineering, and support teams in a fast-paced live television environment.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Oversee operational workflows for multiple studio and control room crews</li>
<li>Act as a primary liaison between Operations, Production, Facilities, Assignment Desk, and Marketing teams</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Talent, Producers, Directors, and technical staff to communicate updates and resolve issues in real time</li>
<li>Partner with Engineering teams to ensure rapid resolution of technical challenges</li>
<li>Support production teams in executing creative elements (props, VIP guests, special segments)</li>
<li>Manage and oversee daily studio set changes across multiple spaces</li>
<li>Assist with crew scheduling, including development of Studio Crew Break Sheets</li>
<li>Mentor and train new Operations team members on processes and best practices</li>
<li>Maintain a strong focus on organization, execution, and follow-through in a live production setting</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills:
<ul>
<li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in sports or live television operations required</li>
<li>Experience managing teams or workforces in a production or operational environment</li>
<li>Strong understanding of live and pre-recorded studio production workflows</li>
<li>Knowledge of baseball and hockey strongly preferred</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking ability</li>
<li>Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize effectively and maintain accountability</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, decisive approach under pressure</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to adapt in fast-paced, breaking news environments</li>
<li>High level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy</li>
<li>Passion for operations, logistics, and production excellence</li>
<li>Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and solve challenges</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Strong follow-up skills and commitment to execution</li>
<li>Experience with Media Pulse or similar production systems is a plus</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Media, Television/Film Production or related field preferred</li>
</ul>
Position Reports to:
<ul>
<li>Director, Studio Operations &amp; Scheduling</li>
</ul>
Pay Range: $480/day

Freelance Production Manager

<div>MLB Network seeks a Freelance Summer Content Associate to provide support to the production and media delivery processes, as assigned. The Content Associate must possess a high-level knowledge of baseball, be highly organized and have writing experience.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Write metadata in support of game highlights.</li>
<li>Deliver video elements to specified recipient.</li>
<li>Spot check videos on https://www.littleleague.org/world-series/ and report issues</li>
<li>Communicate with internal and external partners using Slack</li>
<li>Other such duties as required.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills:
<ul>
<li>0 to 1 years' business or related experience is required.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of baseball.</li>
<li>Required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Be extremely organized, demonstrate initiative and an ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>
<li>Demonstrate the tact, diplomacy, decisiveness, and superior people skills required in a pressurized live television environment.</li>
<li>Possess the manual dexterity needed to effectively create required work product.</li>
<li>Possess the visual acuity needed to effectively create required work product.</li>
<li>Possess the auditory acuity needed to effectively create required work product.</li>
<li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to navigate distances of various lengths within the work environment.</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul>
<li>Current students or recent graduates seeking a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Broadcast/Journalism/Television Production degree is highly preferred.</li>
</ul>

<li>Supervisor, Media Operations</li>
</ul>
Pay Range: $25/hour
