Experienced, Patient Centered Physician Assistant Needed for Busy Physician-Owned Internal Medicine Practice- Duluth, Ga. No Call or Weekends!Well-established Primary Care practice in Gwinnett County, Ga. with affiliations to Northside and Emory facilities seeks to add a Physician Assistant with 2+ years of experience to join our team of caring and capable providers.Since 2003 our Practice has built a reputation of providing excellent medical care with sincere compassion. We are seeking equally talented people with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to join our staff.Work Location:In Person; Fulltime- 5 days a week with one afternoon off; convenient location near to Northside Duluth Hospital.Responsibilities are provided under the direction of a supervising physician and include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Examining, evaluating, and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, illness or injuries</li><li>Reviewing medical histories to understand patients&rsquo; present health concerns</li><li>Performing routine exams and/or ordering tests and assessments</li><li>Reviewing the results of lab work and diagnostic tests</li><li>Ordering prescriptions and medications</li><li>Developing and managing treatment and wellness plans</li></ul>Requires:<ul><li>Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program</li><li>Georgia State licensure as a Physician Assistant</li><li>2+ Previous experience in Internal Medicine or a related specialty</li><li>Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with E Clinical Works (ECW) a plus</li><li>Excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to excellence and patient support</li></ul>Benefits and Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive compensation ($130,000 to $140,000 base) with bonus Opportunity of $10,000 to $15,000 per year.</li><li>Comprehensive benefit package including:</li><li>401(k)/ 401(k) matching</li><li>Health, Life and Dental Insurance and Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
