<div><p><b>MMI Engineered Solutions</b> is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized <b>PayrollBenefits Specialist</b> to administer accurate and timely payroll while managing employee benefits programs and supporting HR operations. This role is a key part of the HR team and works closely with both HR and Finance to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and a positive employee experience.</p><p>
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and systems, and is comfortable assisting employees and training managers on payroll and benefits processes.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h2><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Payroll Administration</b></h3><ul><li>
Process weekly and biweekly payroll with a goal of 100% accuracy.</li><li>
Review timesheets and time clock reports to ensure accurate hours reporting.</li><li>
Administer employee garnishments, including Income Withholding Orders (eIWO), ensuring proper withholding and remittance.</li><li>
Audit payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, local tax withholding, and wage reporting.</li><li>
Troubleshoot time clock and payroll system issues, including support for remote facilities.</li><li>
Process hires, terminations, and employee changes in the payroll/HRIS system.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Benefits Administration</b></h3><ul><li>
Assist employees with benefit enrollment and questions.</li><li>
Participate in New Employee Orientation and Open Enrollment.</li><li>
Follow up on required documentation (EOI forms, 401(k) distribution forms, etc.).</li><li>
Prepare Short-Term and Long-Term Disability claims in coordination with FMLA and ADA.</li><li>
Process unemployment claims.</li><li>
Educate employees on pay, paystubs, overtime, deductions, and how to maximize their benefits.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
HRIS, ReportingHR Support</b></h3><ul><li>
Maintain HRIS data integrity and perform regular HR data audits.</li><li>
Lead HRIS system improvements and integration projects.</li><li>
Track and analyze trends in turnover, absenteeism, and workforce data.</li><li>
Assist with compensation analysis and salary/benefits surveys.</li><li>
Support payroll, benefits, and 401(k) audits.</li><li>
Field payroll and benefits-related questions from employees.</li><li>
Assist with onboarding and ensure completion of new hire documentation and I-9s.</li><li>
Support broader HR initiatives including employee relations support and wellness programs.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience required.</li><li>
Previous payroll and benefits experience in an organization with <b>100+ employees</b>.</li><li>
iSolved HCM experience a plus.</li><li>
FPC or CPP certification preferred.</li><li>
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially <b>Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)</b>.</li><li>
SharePoint experience a plus.</li><li>
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.</li><li>
Must be able to work <b>on-site five days per week (40 hours)</b> and adjust schedule occasionally to support off shifts.</li><li>
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with employees and managers.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
