As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager at MMI Industrial &amp; Steel, you will assume full-time responsibilities in a hands-on, field-based setting. Please note, this is not a remote job and will require presence on-site to manage and oversee project quality effectively.</p><p>
The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing our comprehensive quality protocols across various high-stakes projects. These projects typically involve complex industrial, semiconductor, data center, and high-tech construction initiatives. The successful candidate will bring expertise and a meticulous approach to ensure all work aligns impeccably with our company standards, contractual obligations, relevant codes, and client expectations.</p><p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p><p>
Develop, tailor, and oversee the implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.</p><ul><li>
Lead the coordination and execution of inspection protocols across all stages of the project to ensure compliance with quality standards.</li><li>
Manage and direct project teams, subcontractors, and QA/QC personnel towards achieving contractual quality requirements.</li><li>
Organize and guide quality assurance planning meetings, promoting proactive engagement among diverse project stakeholders.</li><li>
Ensure all inspection and testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and project schedules.</li><li>
Monitor, evaluate, and report on quality performance metrics, instituting necessary corrective actions to remedy any deviations.</li><li>
Facilitate robust documentation processes, ensuring all quality records and reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory demands.</li><li>
Act as the primary company representative in quality matters during client interactions, audits, and regulatory reviews.</li><li>
Implement continuous improvement strategies, identifying opportunities to enhance quality outcomes across projects.</li><li>
Empower and mentor QA/QC team members through organized training sessions, fostering a culture of quality and precision.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.</li><li>
At least 5-10 years of proven experience in a QA/QC role within the industrial or high-tech construction sectors.</li><li>
Strong leadership skills and prior experience managing quality assurance teams and complex projects.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, relevant construction standards, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Proficiency in key software such as Procore, Bluebeam, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Exemplary communication skills, capable of effectively articulating quality standards and expectations to multiple stakeholders.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all areas of responsibility including inspections, documentation, and reporting.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Preferred additional qualifications: CWI, CQC, OSHA, or similar certifications.</li><li>
Experience in fostering continuous improvement and leading root cause analysis within quality-focused initiatives.</li></ul></div><p></p>
