You&rsquo;ll play a key part in creating a welcoming environment, guiding applicants through leasing processes, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster positive relationships with residents and prospects alike, driving occupancy rates and community satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed property tours and answering questions to spark interest.</li><li>Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including data entry into Appfolio</li><li>Promote available units through upselling techniques while aligning offerings with client needs.</li><li>Ensure all leasing activities adhere to Fair Housing laws and other legal requirements.</li><li>Prepare, review, and negotiate lease contracts and related legal documents with transparency and confidence.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applicant files, and correspondence through organized filing systems.</li><li>Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins, address resident concerns, and facilitate property upkeep.</li><li>Handle conflict management professionally by resolving tenant issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships.</li><li>Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and maximize occupancy opportunities.</li><li>Stay updated on local housing regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, ideally within multifamily housing communities.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Landlord-Tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with property management software such as Appfolio for data entry, reporting, and customer relationship management (CRM).</li><li>Demonstrated success in sales or customer service roles with excellent phone etiquette and negotiation skills.</li><li>Experience handling legal administrative tasks including contracts, filing systems, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Office experience that includes data entry, filing, facilities management, and basic maintenance coordination is highly valued.</li><li>Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping related to leasing activities and legal documentation.
