<li>Salary Range: Starting range $21.50 - $24.72/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience &amp; education)</li>

</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities</h3>

Front Desk
<ul>
<li>Greet patients and visitors</li>
<li>Check in all appointments that occur at the endoscopy center.</li>
<li>Assist patients with completing necessary forms while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice regulations.</li>
<li>Assist patients and visitors with questions and concerns</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and presentable lobby area.</li>
</ul>
Admitting/Recovery/Circulating
<ul>
<li>Greet and room patients.</li>
<li>Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality</li>
<li>Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing and toileting, as well as supporting mobility needs such as ambulation and transfers between stretchers, chairs, wheelchairs, and vehicles.</li>
<li>Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and visitors</li>
<li>Observe and report changes in patients&rsquo; condition to nursing staff.</li>
<li>Document care provided accurately and promptly.</li>
<li>Assist patients during the discharge process</li>
<li>Clean and prepare patient areas, including disinfecting stretchers, remaking beds, and turning over rooms, while maintaining cleanliness of the restrooms and exam rooms according to Endoscopy and Infection Control Policies to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.</li>
<li>Monitor, organize, and restock medical and personal care supplies in patient rooms, nursing stations, supply carts, and storage areas, ensuring inventory levels are adequate and up-to-date, and reporting low or expired items to the appropriate staff.</li>

Procedure Room
<ul>
<li>Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.</li>
<li>Anticipate physician needs and provide instruments and tools promptly.</li>
<li>Prepare procedure rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Escort patients to and from the procedure room.</li>
<li>Provide basic comfort and reassurance to patients.</li>
<li>Accurately document procedural details and cleaning records.</li>
<li>Utilize proper regulatory, facility, and infection control standards and techniques.</li>

Education and/or Experience:</h3>
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare education preferred.</li>
<li>CPR certification is required or willing to obtain within 3 months of start date.</li>
</ul>
Certifications/Licenses:
<ul>
<li>BLS Certification required. Ability to gain certification will be provided through MNGI, must be completed within 3 months of start date.</li>

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and reach to hang scopes and stock supplies. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move quickly on their feet. Employees must be able to tolerate personal protective equipment including; gowns, gloves, face masks and eye protection. Employees may be required to travel to other company locations due to staffing and training needs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee works in a clinical environment and may be exposed to hazardous chemicals or conditions including exposure to blood or other body fluids. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training will be provided. The employee is exposed to a computer monitor daily. The employee may be required to travel by automobile and exposed to changing weather conditions while performing the duties of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be alert to conditions that may impact the safety of patients, employees and visitors.
