This role is pivotal in assessing on-premises environments, crafting migration plans, and execution of cloud transitions to Microsoft Azure.  <ul>
 <li>
 Execute cloud migration projects using Azure Migrate and related tools, including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assess on-premises infrastructure to determine cloud readiness and develop tailored migration roadmaps.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deploy and manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways, and enterprise-scale landing zones.
 </li>
 <li>
 Migrate virtual machines, databases, and file shares with minimal downtime, ensuring issue resolution during replication, configuration, and post-migration phases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize workloads for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and auto-scaling.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and maintain comprehensive migration playbooks, runbooks, and progress reporting for stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay current with Azure platform updates and recommend innovative tools or process improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide post-migration technical support, ensuring environments remain secure, resilient, and compliant with best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders of all levels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain a detail-oriented mindset.

 This is you
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 You have 3+ years of experience in system engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 You have proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially in cloud migration projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 You have strong expertise in on-premises technologies such as VMware vCenter, Hyper-V, Windows &amp; Linux administration, and Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO, DC).
 </li>
 <li>
 You have solid experience with Azure services including VMs, Update Manager, SQL Servers, NSGs, vNETs, Application Gateways, ExpressRoute, VPNs, Storage Accounts, and Azure Monitor.
 </li>
 <li>
 You are familiar with VMware HCX and tools like Azure Migrate.
 </li>
 <li>
 You have experience with cloud governance and security using Defender 365, Entra ID, and Firewall configurations.
 </li>
 <li>
 You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 You are fluent in English, both spoken and written (German is a plus).
