 We&rsquo;re looking for a social-native strategist/creator hybrid to join us as an
 
 Associate Social Manager
 
 and propel the Modern Animal brand to the next level across social channels.
 
 
 In this high-agency, high-impact role, you&rsquo;ll be in the driver&rsquo;s seat of one of the fastest growing brands in the pet space. You&rsquo;ll drive meaningful engagement with our community online and offline and weave our brand into culture through social-first campaigns, highly-engaging content, and partnerships with creators and brands we admire.
 
 
 The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, culturally fluent, and resourceful AF. You&rsquo;re able to balance innate creativity with keen analysis of performance to adapt to conditions on the field and pivot when needed. Most importantly, you&rsquo;re eager to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to help Modern Animal win.
 
 
 This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Brand, and will work three days/week from our clinics and our headquarters in Culver City, CA.
 
 
 
 In This Role You Will
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Optimize Modern Animal&rsquo;s social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin), ensuring that they are set-up for maximal reach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply your intuitive sense of trend and what&rsquo;s happening in culture to a 7 day/week social calendar that keeps Modern Animal top of mind for our existing members and prompts consideration by pet parents and veterinary talent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Independently, and in collaboration with our video producer and aspiring creators in our clinics, produce content that amplifies our message and drives love for the brand across channels
 </li>
 <li>
 In partnership with our Sr. Paid Media Manager, incorporate insights and content from organic social to inform experiments on paid media, and accelerate the rate of experimentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pitch, develop, and execute social-first campaigns that place Modern Animal within the cultural zeitgeist at multiple points throughout the year.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform outbound social engagement to bolster Modern Animal&rsquo;s reputation amongst pet parents and veterinary professionals, and proactively grow our reach and following in all of our markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze and report on performance to inform iterative improvements to Modern Animal&rsquo;s social, content, and brand strategy.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Why You&rsquo;d Be a Great Fit
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re scrappy and innately collaborative, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally to get sh*t done.
 </li>
 <li>
 You have 3&ndash;5 years of experience managing social for a consumer brand
 </li>
 <li>
 You have an instinctual understanding of what drives performance on TikTok and Instagram, and have scaled a brand&rsquo;s following from 0&ndash;1 (and maybe even 1,000,000!)
 </li>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re beyond capable at independently producing content and editing within digitally native tools like CapCut, Canva, or Figma.
 </li>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re a great copywriter, and can fluidly adapt your style, tone, and voice to various content types and audiences while staying on-brand and on-message.
 </li>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re comfortable with data and using native and third-party social media analytics tools to extract and interpret performance results against business goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re based in Los Angeles, with the ability to work out of our HQ and/or in our clinics most days of the week.

 The compensation for this role is $80,000-$110,000
