We&rsquo;re seeking a Staff Product Manager to own differentiating consumer experiences that drive company-level growth for the largest real estate brokerage in the U.S. As part of the consumer growth team, you&rsquo;ll be on the forefront of company strategy to show the world what sets Compass apart throughout the product. We&rsquo;re seeking a visionary, strategic thinker with big dreams and pragmatic decision-making who can bring the Compass mission to the consumer experience.</p>
<p><b>
At Compass You Will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Translate the Compass mission into a visionary roadmap that drives incremental business growth</li>
<li>Develop and execute on the product strategy and roadmap, leading the full product lifecycle from ideation through development to launch</li>
<li>Understand Compass&rsquo; strategic and competitive position, leading your team to deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry</li>
<li>Partner closely with and influence senior leadership across the company to contribute to strategic priorities and initiatives</li>
<li>Work with agents, product marketing, support, and key internal stakeholders to carefully understand and analyze user needs, turning those into a product strategy, roadmap, and detailed specifications</li>
<li>Using detailed specifications as your foundation, collaborate with engineering and design leaders, driving accountability to ship features that are highly usable, and loved by our customers and staff</li>
<li>Lead quarterly and ongoing planning processes in partnership with engineering, ensuring alignment on priorities and delivery goals</li>
<li>Establish success frameworks and robust analytical capabilities to guide efforts with data driven and competitive insights</li>
<li>Cultivate a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, creativity, and innovation, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and respected</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What We Look For:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of product experience on a large-scale consumer marketplace</li>
<li>Track record of delivering 0 to 1 products that move the needle for the business</li>
<li>Real estate industry expertise, strongly preferred</li>
<li>Strong technical foundations, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience, with an ability to assess and contribute to engineering discussions related to a product</li>
<li>Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from disparate sources, going beyond user requests to get to key needs, and the ability to rationalize across and resolve stakeholder differences</li>
<li>Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to develop inspiring, multi-year product vision that is aligned with business strategies</li>
<li>Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment, bringing clarity to ambiguity</li>
<li>Strategic product thinker who can examine the changing landscape and use that information to define product strategy and prioritize the problems to solve</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allows you to influence other teams, create clarity, and drive focus on complex problems</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Compensation: </b>The base pay range for this position is $189,000-$210,600; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.</p><div><div>
