Position Summary:<div>
The Food Server serves guests and patrons of the Mohegan Sun Country Club according to department policies and procedures.</div>
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:<div><ul><li>
Services guests in the restaurant according to specific department procedures</li><li>
Sets up stations, does sidework and other opening and closing duties, as directed by the Restaurant Manager</li><li>
Assists with arranging the room and setting tables for special events, as needed</li></ul></div>
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:<div><ul><li>
Participates in the cashier function</li><li>
Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities</li><li>
May be asked to fill in as a Bartender, as needed</li><li>
Maintains a clean and sanitary work area</li></ul></div>
Minimum Education and Qualifications:<div><ul><li>
Previous food serving experience</li><li>
Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment</li><li>
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English</li></ul></div>
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:<div><ul><li>
Basic knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques</li></ul></div>
Training Requirements:<div><ul><li>
Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures</li><li>
Food and restaurant concept knowledge</li></ul></div>
Physical Demands and Work Environment:<div><ul><li>
Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time</li><li>
Fast paced kitchen environment</li><li>
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours</li></ul></div>

Job Duties
Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and analysis of key financial information. Assist Senior Accountant with various assignments. Prepare daily and monthly financial reports. Works with fixed assets system and related accounting functions. Compiles and analyzes accounts receivable data to ensure correct accountability and collection of funds and computerized accounting system. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Promotes superior guest service.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting required. Minimum of one year accounting experience working in a high volume operation. Intermediate experience with spreadsheet software. Prior experience performing account analysis and a thorough understanding of GAAP.

Staff Accountant

Job Duties
Compiles and analyzes payroll data to ensure the correct accountability and payment of salaries, wages, and garnishments. Verifies and maintains reported tips data. Compiles statistical payroll reports and payroll data entries. Works with payroll system to ensure accurate and timely processing. Reviews time sheets. Distributes payroll checks and payroll reports to the company&rsquo;s departments. Reviews labor hours submitted by departments. Contacts patrons to collect all moneys due to Mohegan Pennsylvania for counter checks or cash equivalents that have returned. Complies with casino regulatory rules and regulations and casino internal and accounting controls relating to collections. At times communicates with in-house attorneys or outside legal counsel regarding disposition of patron accounts. Maintains reports on collection figures. Assists Staff Accountants with various assignments including preparation of basic journal entries and account analysis. Performs other related duties as assigned. Promotes superior guest service.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with data entry and automated payroll systems. Prior experience in casino collections, casino credit or two years in credit/collections outside of the casino industry. One-year previous clerical experience in accounting operations. Experience with spreadsheet software and basic computer skills.
