Position Summary:<div>
The Senior Web Applications Developer is accountable for the end-to-end design, development, delivery, and maintenance of complex, custom Internet applications, as well as providing advanced production support with minimal oversight. This role leads functional and technical analysis, including requirements gathering, systems architecture, design, programming, and comprehensive documentation for approved projects and initiatives.
The incumbent will also drive root cause analysis for software defects in both production environments and applications under development, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions.</div>
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:<div><ul><li>
Develops and applies organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared intranet/internet information management systems</li><li>
Develops and implements middleware solutions to provide Internet access to application databases</li><li>
Constructs logical business improvement opportunities consistent with corporate information management guiding principles, cost savings and open systems architecture objectives</li><li>
Participates in the gathering of and compilation of technical information for the following project related tasks: scope of work definition, project documentation, design specification documents, functional requirements documentation and other development related deliverables as deemed necessary</li><li>
Adheres to standards of analysis, coding, naming conventions and documentation as defined by Mohegan</li><li>
Adheres to the best practices in project management, programming, software development lifecycle and rapid development concepts as defined by Mohegan</li><li>
Adheres to best practices of code management including but not limited to: source code control, production control practices and the standards of production systems access as defined by Mohegan</li><li>
Works independently with little or no supervision on moderately complex projects</li><li>
Participates in peer code reviews for his or her code or code produced by others</li><li>
Participates in or conducts testing including but not limited to; unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, system testing or user acceptance testing as required</li><li>
Participates in meetings, requirements sessions, internal to IT and with business customers, as required</li><li>
Participates and contributes to systems architecture designs and documentation when required</li><li>
Demonstrates a working knowledge of key business systems that are at Mohegan or similar businesses</li><li>
Learn new programming and development skills as required</li><li>
Documents or assists in the documentation of programming problems for future references</li><li>
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the software lifecycle and root cause analysis</li></ul></div>

Must be able to support applications that are running in a 7 X 24 X 365 enterprise environment</li><li>
Maintains accurate time reports for activities according to Mohegan Information Technology policies</li><li>
Documents and protects Mohegan Sun intellectual property as required</li><li>
Required to be on call either on a permanent or rotated schedule shared with others</li><li>
Maintains accurate reports of his or her time in accordance with Mohegan IT policies</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned</li><li>
Responsible for enforcing the privacy rules pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as applicable to Mohegan Sun</li></ul></div>
Minimum Education and Qualifications:<div><ul><li>
Bachelors&rsquo; degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or a related field, with five years&rsquo; work experience in a company setting responsible for development in one or more of the following languages: Springboot, HTML, Angular, SQL, XML, JAVA, .Net, JavaScript</li><li>
At least three years of programming experience must be in a company environment supporting enterprise level applications with greater than 5,000 employees</li><li>
Experience as a backend Web Developer with a minimum of three years working with Adobe Experience Manager, DAYCQ console, Java Content Repository, and DAM. Strong focus on server-side technologies including Java, Sling, and OSGi, building reusable AEM components, developing backend APIs, and integrating data through REST and SOAP calls from mid-tier and backend systems.</li><li>
Strong understanding of core web technologies, including XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, XHTML, JSP, RESTful web services, tag libraries, and JSTL</li><li>
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and related tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, and Linux</li><li>
Solid grasp of web architecture concepts, including responsive design, session management, caching, and cookies</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of content publishing, development life cycles, code deployment processes, automated testing, DevOps, and Agile project management</li><li>
Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting issues, with the ability to deliver effective solutions</li><li>
Knowledge of W3C standards, SEO best practices, and ADA compliance requirements for websites</li><li>
Experience with source control systems, including Git and Bitbucket</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Obtain and maintain at least one or more applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions</li></ul></div>

Position Summary:<div>
 This position performs the leadership, programming, and analysis required to develop the architecture given for an enterprise mobile application solution. It requires participation in the gathering and compilation of technical requirements and materials for the following work-related tasks; scope of work definition, project documentation, design specification documents, functional requirements, work effort estimations and other development related deliverables as deemed necessary. Supports the IT team as a technical expert for mobile applications, Information Systems development projects, product integration projects and work requests. Becomes a mentor to junior members of the development and testing team. Supports the development of complex programming or integrations for mobile solutions and leads projects in support of these efforts.</div>
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:<div><ul><li>
Mobile application software developer focused on the improvement of Mohegan casino property mobile applications with increasing mobile user adoption and retention, through the guest experience in app use</li><li>
Lead technical requirements with cross functional teams and vendors to continuously update the roadmap for mobile application functionality and business need</li><li>
Adheres to standards of analysis, coding, naming conventions and system level documentation as defined by Mohegan, including SDLC and Change Management</li><li>
Analyzes enterprise business trends and strategies, as well as change requirements in other architectural viewpoints, to derive the correct requirements to guide the future software solution portfolios</li><li>
Adheres to the best practices for architecture standards, source code control, production control, and the standards of production system access as defined by Mohegan</li><li>
Works using Agile methodologies with little or no supervision on complex programming and integration mobile projects</li><li>
Participates in or conducts testing including but not limited to unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, system testing or user acceptance testing as required</li><li>
