Job Summary:The Retail Store Manager-Store Opening HP is responsible for driving the strategic expansion of our retail footprint across the state. This leadership role is focused on identifying high-potential locations, overseeing the end-to-end process of launching new stores, and ensuring each new outlet is operationally sound, brand-compliant, and financially successful. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, operational expertise, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning &amp; Expansion<ul><li>Develop and execute a state-level expansion roadmap aligned with the company&rsquo;s retail growth strategy.</li><li>Conduct market research and demographic analysis to identify viable micro-locations for new store development.</li><li>Evaluate site potential using strategic metrics and feasibility studies.</li></ul>Project Management<ul><li>Lead the complete store opening lifecycle&mdash;from planning, design, and build-out to launch and post-opening support.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including real estate, construction, design, marketing, and operations.</li><li>Negotiate with landlords, secure lease agreements, and ensure all regulatory/legal compliances are met.</li><li>Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.</li></ul>Sales &amp; Operations<ul><li>Set sales and profitability targets for new store launches.</li><li>Ensure seamless operational readiness including inventory, staffing, and technology enablement.</li><li>Track performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement strategies for ongoing improvement.</li><li>Maintain high operational standards and ensure stores reflect brand excellence.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>Recruit, train, and mentor store leadership and staff for all new locations.</li><li>Create a performance-driven culture focused on customer needs, team collaboration, and growth.</li><li>Encourage team engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace environment.</li></ul>Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, franchisees, landlords, and external partners.</li><li>Provide regular updates to leadership on store opening progress, challenges, and achievements.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for key state-level retail expansion matters.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Standards<ul><li>Ensure all new stores comply with local regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.</li><li>Uphold visual merchandising and brand identity standards across all locations.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years of experience in retail operations, with a strong focus on new store openings and expansion.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-location retail projects.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and management.</li><li>Proficient in budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across the state as required.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From ₹30,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Solan, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
