QC Lab Technician - Floater<div></div><div>
Summary:</div>
This primary area of responsibility for this position is to perform all activities related to QC testing in a safe manner. Perform all in process &amp; final testing for various QC labs as assigned. Perform housekeeping &amp; safety functions for the assigned process area. This position will act as a floater and may be assigned to any of the QC labs as needed.<br>

This is a Union, non-exempt position. The starting pay rate for this role is $36.97.<div></div><div>
Responsibilities Include:</div><div><ul><li><div>
Clean dishes and labware.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Responsible for retains, including transfers to storage areas.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Executes all weekly beds &amp; fines testing.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Responsible for routine, repetitive tasks, such as restocks supplies, change waste drums, etc.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform basic in process &amp; final testing.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Report the results &amp; disposition material in SAP monitors SAP card updates.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform routine equipment troubleshooting, calibrations and control charting.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform weekly shower, eye wash &amp; fire extinguisher inspections.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Collect water samples for daily waste water treatment testing.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform general housekeeping.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Maintain accuracy &amp; timeliness of test data.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><div>
The following are <i>required </i>for the role</div><div><div><ul><li><div>
Two year college degree in scientific or engineering field or 3-5 years of documented technical laboratory experience.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Ability to balance multiple priorities and multiple tasks as required, in different laboratories.</div></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>
Operate &amp; maintain a variety of test equipment of varying degrees of complexity, including but not limited to X-ray, BETC, Tensometers, FTIR, viscometer, hydraulic press.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform routine equipment troubleshooting.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Ability to effectively utilize personal, mainframe, &amp; material movement computers &amp; devices &amp; site licensed programs.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Change shifts as required to provide coverage.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Written and verbal skills to communicate and applicable math skills.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Familiarity with laboratory experimentation; ability to design experiments, collect, organize, and interpret experimental data.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Superior organizational skills to maintain accurate records. Careful and concise documentation.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, self-motivated, independent worker.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Knowledge and applications of safety, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Good communication skills.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong interpersonal skills, flexible &amp; willing to work in various work locations as assigned, self-motivated and good team player.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Valid drivers license required to drive a plant transport vehicle.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodation</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>

Four year college degree in scientific or engineering field or 3-5 years of documented technical laboratory experience.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience in use of computers desired.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Previous experience in laboratory performing chemical and/or physical testing is preferred.</div></li></ul></div></div></div><div></div><div>
