Summary:</div>
This position is responsible for support and implementation of all IT solutions in the global manufacturing and quality management environment, leading the technical design and development of application solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Providing the highest level of expertise for complex solution design, development and testing involving the integration of multiple products, processes, or systems into complete business solutions. Works closely with multiple teams, business analysts, IT team members, and other staff to understand business and IT requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.<div></div><div>
Responsibilities Include:</div><ul><li>
Lead the implementation of Quality management and LIMS system integration solutions projects.</li><li>
Responsible for coordinating application development, integration, and maintenance working collaboratively with the Solution Architect, Engineering Leaders, Implementation Partners, and key business stakeholders.</li><li>
Participate in the development of the Digital Strategy/Smart Plant initiatives to drive Momentive&rsquo;s global business strategy.</li><li>
Directly responsible for End to End (development &amp; integration) QA of all assigned change and development requests.</li><li>
Support business teams in all questions around business systems in the manufacturing area.</li><li>
Provide operational and strategic support to Momentive&rsquo;s global Quality Management and LIMS and related systems working with a global IT team.</li><li>
Act as both a subject matter expert and an internal consultant within the business, helping to facilitate the use of technology as a tool for process improvement. Manage change within affected processes and stakeholder groups through process mapping, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and testing.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><div>

Minimum qualifications:</div><ul><li>
7+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing innovative solutions, collaborating with business partners across functions, and delivering within a change management process.</li><li>
5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Manufacturing and Quality management experience with Application management, such as LIMS or other QM related systems.</li><li>
5+ years of hands-on experience in both Java and front end Technical development.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives</li><li>
Overall systems and business process knowledge, and clear understanding of current and emerging technologies across a diverse range of platforms</li><li>
Working knowledge of current Industry 4.0 technologies and trends, and familiarity with client/server environments</li><li>
Functional understanding of standard interfaces built upon EDI, XML and IDOC transactions</li><li>
High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision</li><li>
Experience in off/on shore model as well as working with Virtual teams.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience with analytical tools and flowcharting tools, such as Microsoft Visio</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Manufacturing or business experience with a solid understanding of business operations /processes.</li><li>
Experience with international or global ERP systems.</li><li>
Exposure to plant floor systems (PCN) / Operational Technology and their integration with the Information Technology platforms.</li><li>

Summary:</div>
The Coatings Research and Development Co-op is a six-month opportunity based at Momentive&rsquo;s Waterford, NY site. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing Coating Technology by supporting R&amp;D programs and platform initiatives. The Co-op will develop essential structure&ndash;property knowledge for coatings that can be applied across multiple programs and customer applications. This position offers a fast-paced environment where you will quickly begin contributing and making an impact from day one.<br>

Investigate the effect of formulation and processing changes on coating performance, particularly with respect to coating performance failures in the Consumer/Industrial/Automotive space. Document and standardize coating developmental data.</div><div></div><div>
Support Coating Next Generation Platforms and New Product Introductions:</div><ul><li><div>
Analyze the effect of chemistry and process parameters on chemical resistance, adhesion, abrasion resistance and cracking.</div></li><li><div>
Investigate effects of additives to improve adhesion to wider range of substrate types, such as plastic, metal and glass.</div></li><li><div>
Investigate effects of pigments, matte agents and other additives on appearance and surface property performance.</div></li><li><div>
Develop in-house test methods for Consumer/Industrial/Automotive Coating space.</div></li><li><div>
Improve performance of protective coatings on metal.</div></li><li><div>
Improve anti-fingerprint coating performance on glass.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with global technical teams internally and interface directly with customers to report results, share ideas and advance programs.</div></li><li><div>
