You will join the mondayDB group within our Data organization - the team that built monday.com&rsquo;s own database from the ground up to handle scale, performance, resiliency, and data integrity that off-the-shelf solutions couldn&rsquo;t. As an Infrastructure Tech Lead, you&rsquo;ll own the systems that keep mondayDB fast, available, and ready for the next order of magnitude.

We built mondayDB ourselves since nothing off the shelf could power 250,000+ customers at the scale and speed monday.com needs. Now that monday.com is rebuilding around AI agents working alongside humans, every agent action lands on mondayDB and the next order of magnitude in scale, latency, trust and reliability is the foundation the agentic platform runs on. What you&rsquo;ll do:</h2><ul><li>
Own mondayDB&rsquo;s infrastructure end-to-end. Tier-1 services on AWS, our Temporal.io cluster, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DuckDB, Node.js and Go microservices on Kubernetes - architect, build, evolve, operate.</li><li>
Drive the roadmap. Identify the bottlenecks, frame the bets, push the work forward. Tech Leads set technical direction here, not just execute it.</li><li>
Push the limits of scale and reliability. Hold four 9s while scaling to billions of items, 100K+ RPS, and dashboards aggregating 50M items in seconds.</li><li>
Build the orchestration layer. Design the Temporal-based workflows that move data through mondayDB - ingestion, indexing, aggregation, recovery.</li><li>
Get the best out of every datastore. Tune and operate the right tool for each access pattern - DynamoDB, Cassandra, DuckDB, and the glue between them.</li><li>
Own production. On-call for what you build. Tier-1 ownership means being on the hook and trusted to build systems that almost never need you.</li><li>
Raise the bar. Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, set the patterns the whole group builds on.</li></ul>

Requirements:</h2><ul><li>
6+ years building and operating distributed, large-scale backend systems.</li><li>
Deep expertise in distributed systems - storage, concurrency, consistency, performance, failure modes.</li><li>
Hands-on production experience on a major cloud (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of at least one of DynamoDB, Cassandra, DuckDB, or comparable distributed datastores and a clear sense of when to reach for which.</li><li>
Track record of running tier-1 services and meeting tight SLOs.</li><li>
Comfort with workflow orchestration (Temporal, Cadence, Airflow, Step Functions, or similar) and the trade-offs involved.</li><li>
A bias toward ownership: happy on-call for the systems you build, proud of making them boring to operate.</li><li>
Excellent communication, empathy, and a commitment to quality and simplicity.</li></ul>

For New York City-based hires only: compensation is structured as approximately 80% base salary and 20% variable on-target earnings (OTE). The base salary range for this position is: $132,000 &ndash; $168,000, with additional OTE potential of $166,000 &ndash; $210,000. OTE earnings are tied to individual performance pursuant to company policy. This role may also be eligible for equity awards, giving you the opportunity to share in the company&rsquo;s long-term success. All compensation is subject to standard payroll taxes and withholdings.

Senior Customer Success Manager

<div>As a Forward-Deployed Engineer in the Services organization, you'll be a key technical partner for our most strategic customers. Your focus is high impact: driving AI transformation, help drive growth for our strategic customers and translating real world complexity into product insights. You will deeply embed with a single high value customer, working with C-level and technical teams to architect solutions that redefine their work.<div></div> 
You'll lead customer transformations leveraging AI capabilities in complex, mission critical use-cases. You'll own the full cycle of a delivery from understanding customer needs and business pains, architecting and designing their solution, build, and roll it out to the teams.<div></div>

As a monday.com Forward-Deployed Engineer, you will drive strategic transformation, AI adoption, and product strategy, directly impacting revenue, roadmap, and customer trust. You will partner deeply with one strategic customer, advising executives on AI-driven operational change, and feeding insights back to the product team. This autonomous role offers high visibility and the chance to define its future.<div></div> 
﻿What You'll Do
While you may prototype, your main leverage is through architecture, judgment, and influence, connecting customer reality to product direction.<ul><li>
Strategic Transformation: Embed with C-level stakeholders to architect end-to-end AI solutions and scalable workflows that solve complex business pains</li><li>
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Sales and CS as a technical authority to guide account strategy and translate customer needs into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)</li><li>
Implementation Excellence: Act as the platform expert&mdash;designing sophisticated configurations, prototyping custom scripts, and overseeing the narrative from pilot to full rollout</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Experience leading hands-on projects from A to Z in a production environment, preferably client-facing</li><li>
5+ years of previous experience building web applications from scratch using TypeScript/Node.js/React</li><li>
Previous experience in Full-stack development</li><li>
Background in Solution Architecture or Software Engineering with a strong grasp of AI/LLM workflows and systems thinking</li><li>
Experience navigating C-suite relationships and the ability to influence executive decision-making in ambiguous environments</li><li>
