In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring that our global purchasing operations run smoothly &mdash; partnering closely with Procurement Managers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. You'll handle diverse tactical purchases spanning Marketing, Events, IT, HR, and Software, helping teams around the world get what they need to succeed.</p>

Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Oversee and execute all tactical purchases within your scope in full alignment with company purchasing policies</li>
<li>Partner with stakeholders globally to anticipate needs, ensure seamless execution, and provide timely updates on deal progress</li>
<li>Manage and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in supplier relationships</li>
<li>Collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable to onboard and maintain suppliers, ensuring documentation and compliance requirements are met</li>
<li>Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, commercial terms, and service levels in line with procurement strategy</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and drive operational efficiency</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred</li>
<li>At least 3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement or as a Buyer, ideally within a global or fast-growing organization</li>
<li>Strong organizational and project management skills &mdash; you can juggle multiple priorities and still deliver with precision</li>
<li>Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the business</li>
<li>Proven experience with contracting, supplier management, and process improvement</li>
<li>Familiarity with business systems and procurement platforms (e.g. Coupa, SAP, Oracle, or similar).</li>
<li>Skilled negotiator with a solutions-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail</li>

Position Overview</b></h3>
<p>
In this role , you will play a critical role in overseeing the General Ledger (GL) and Month-End Close (MEC) operations across global regions. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, mitigating risk, and supporting the financial infrastructure essential to scaling the organization's global operations and supporting strategic business growth through robust financial governance and process excellence.</p>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance</li>
<li>Manage payroll-related journal entries and accruals (severance, vacation, bonuses, etc.)</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, Intercompany) to ensure timely financial inputs</li>
<li>Support external audits by providing accurate data and documentation</li>
<li>Prepare and review journal entries, cash applications, and reconciliations</li>
<li>Perform balance sheet flux and income statement variance analysis for management review</li>
<li>Collaborate with global stakeholders (US, EU, APAC) to maintain accuracy and process alignment</li>
<li>Ensure effective communication and coordination across finance and cross-functional teams</li>
<li>Implement and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting standards</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance</li>
<li>Minimum 7+ years of experience in Finance &amp; Accounting, including 5+ years in month-end close and reporting</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and GL processes; experience with Oracle ERP preferred</li>
<li>Proven experience managing multi-country financial operations and engaging global stakeholders</li>
<li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools</li>
<li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, foreign currency transactions, and FX impacts</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively</li>

Senior Specialist 2, Accounting

We're looking for a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion and initiative for new business acquisition. The Account Executive role focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.</p>

MongoDB already has an extensive presence in Egypt, Morocco and Algeria (FSIs, Retail, Telco &amp; Digital Natives). We are looking for our second team member to manage the North African market.</p>
