Monitoring, Control and Compliance, Inc. (MCC) is a privately owned small business providing services to the solid waste industry. Founded by a former landfill gas technician in 2005 with two employees; and has since grown to approximately 65 employees utilizing a controlled growth strategy.
Our focus is the installation, operation and maintenance of landfill gas systems that are installed to reduce the emissions of Methane impacting our environment and provide for a &ldquo;Green&rdquo; energy source for our client&rsquo;s end-users.

Core Functions<ul><li>
Supports the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline infrastructure.</li><li>
Various manual labor tasks, including excavation, pipe handling, and site preparation, to ensure the efficient and safe operation of pipeline projects</li><li>
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems, including the assembly and disassembly of pipelines.</li><li>
Perform manual excavation and trenching work using hand tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>
Load, unload, and position pipes and related materials using appropriate tools and equipment.</li><li>
Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, vegetation, and other obstacles.</li><li>
Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as jackhammers, compactors, and saws, following safety guidelines.</li><li>
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.</li><li>
Provide support to skilled workers, such as welders and pipefitters, by holding materials, tools, and other equipment.</li><li>
Assist in inspecting pipeline systems for leaks, damage, or other issues, and report findings to the supervisor.</li><li>
General Labor Tasks: Perform other general labor tasks as required, including cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.</li></ul>
Requirements:

General Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including the proficient and safe use of hand tools.</li><li>
Detail oriented</li><li>
Mechanical aptitude.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills required</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record.</li><li>
Ability to pass pre-employment, as well as random, drug screens, background check and motor vehicle records check.</li><li>
Willingness to work in outdoor environments, potentially in remote locations and under varying weather conditions.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications Include:<ul><li>
Previous landfill gas systems construction experience.</li><li>
Current OSHA 40 Hr. HAZWOPER.</li><li>
HDPE pipe fusion certificate</li><li>
Knowledge of basic math, gas chemistry, piping and instrumentation drawings.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently.</li><li>
Perform repetitive motions, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.</li><li>
Work in confined spaces and at heights, as required by the job.</li><li>
Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.</li><li>
Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials commonly found in construction sites</li><li>
