Monmouth Integrative Counseling Services

Overview The LPN provides direct medical and personal care to clients and administrative support to APNs and clinicians. The LPN will handle essential day-to-day duties such as taking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, temperature), administering oral and injectable medication and collecting laboratory samples. The LPN also completes the necessary documentation and provides other administrative support such as answering phones, scheduling clients, communication with pharmacies and special projects as needed.Dutiesv Provide direct client care under the supervision of the Psychiatric APNs.v Assess clients and monitor their vital signsv Administer medication and treatments according to supervisory ordersv Document client information, treatments and responses to care accuratelyv Maintain a clean, sterile and safe client environmentv Collaborate with APNs, clinicians and other practice staff as needed to ensure coordinated and comprehensive client carev Manage incoming referrals and callsv Manage first time scheduling of clients in EHR systemv Assess and schedule clients with the appropriate therapist based on client and provider preferencesv Manage incoming referrals and callsv Manage first time scheduling of clients in Simple Practicev Interface with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high quality triaging and schedulingv Engage in meaningful and client-centered interactions with clients for scheduling and benefitsv Work with billing to determine benefit eligibility and communicate the information to the clientv Other duties and responsibilities designated by the Executive Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical DirectorRequirementsv Active, NJ LPN license in good standing-v Valid BLS and CPR certificationv Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursingv Experience in mental health setting a plusv Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skillsv Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentPay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tinton Falls, NJ 07701
