Position Summary: Provides front-end support for IT customers to ensure proper operation of hospital Information systems, telecommunications systems, and TVs. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving &ldquo;walk-up requests&rdquo; for end user assistance and patient relations requests. Ensures all issues presented are evaluated for swift resolution within established SLA metrics. Responsible for acknowledging and routing issues in a timely and accurate fashion to designated teams and provide end user training and assistance where required. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.
Education/Training: Associate&rsquo;s Degree in computer science or information systems (equivalent education/experience may be substituted). Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
 
Experience : Must have strong customer service, analytical, problem solving, prioritization, and communication skills. Strong customer-service skillset with ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language. Must be detail-oriented and skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience required includes:
<ul><li>Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
</li><li>An understanding of Intel servers, storage, backups and other enterprise support functions;
</li><li>Knowledge of current network protocols, system analysis techniques and procedures, operating systems and standards
</li></ul>Licensure, Registration or Certification: Windows (current versions), Windows Server, or MCITP (or actively working towards obtaining)

Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Pre-Access Center. Ensures accuracy and oversees the registration process, time of service cash collections, insurance verification, authorization, and notification of all Admissions. Responsible for the daily operations of all functions and serves as the liaison between Pre-Access center and the facility. The Supervisor integrates the department&rsquo;s service with the hospital&rsquo;s primary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide or support service, assesses and improves departmental performance and ensures orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. Serves as a key promoter of the service center, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.
Education/Training: Associate&rsquo;s Degree required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience: At least three years of experience in Patient Access Management. Minimum of two (2) years in a Coordinator or supervisory capacity required (preferably in a Healthcare facility). Advanced knowledge of computer programs (i.e. Word, Outlook &amp; Excel).
Licensure, Registration or Certification: Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) or required completion of Patient Access Certification upon hire.
