Our Kia Elizabethtown dealership is currently hiring an automotive detailer. As an automotive detailer you can be expected to clean new and used vehicles. This includes different cleaning methods including vacuuming, applying wax, and use of other cleaners to the vehicle. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has experience in automotive detailing.Job Duties:<ul><li>Cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles, performing any combination of following duties: Washes vehicle exterior to clean cars, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.</li><li>Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.</li><li>Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.</li><li>Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.</li><li>Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces, and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.</li><li>Cleans engine and engine compartment with various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.</li><li>Road tests vehicles when needed.</li><li>Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer.</li><li>Other various tasks as requested by management.</li></ul>Worker Specifications:<ul><li>A high school diploma or the equivalent.</li><li>1 year of automotive detailing experience.</li><li>This position requires a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>This position requires the ability to be added to dealership auto insurance.</li><li>This position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>This position requires the ability to bend, kneel, walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:<ul><li>automotive detail: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
