Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment for land clearing, grading, and site preparation projects. This role plays a key part in supporting construction and land development by performing digging, trenching, and material handling. The ideal candidate has proven equipment operating skills, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operate excavators to dig, grade, trench, and move materials as directed by project management.</li>
<li>Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance (fluid checks, greasing, cleaning).</li>
<li>Work closely with ground crews, truck drivers, and Foreman to maintain efficient site operations.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.</li>
<li>Report mechanical problems or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.</li>
<li>Assist with additional land clearing or construction-related tasks when needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience operating excavators (required).</li>
<li>Knowledge of excavation techniques, safe equipment operation, and industry best practices.</li>
<li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel to job sites (per diem provided where applicable).</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (CDL preferred but not required).</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to sit and operate equipment for long periods.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for maintenance or repair needs.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in rugged outdoor environments.</li>
</ul>
