<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>The Nursing Pathway Programs Coordinator supports the nursing department by promoting program visibility, coordinating student recruitment efforts, and strengthening community and clinical partnerships. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing, this position plays a vital role in maintaining affiliation agreements, organizing departmental events, and managing student onboarding documentation, including health records. The coordinator serves as a liaison between the department, prospective students, community organizations, and healthcare facilities, and provides essential administrative support to enhance student success and program development. A nursing license is not required.<br>
</div><div>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div><div>
1. Create a candidate database and a program admittance cohort file for each nursing and BNAT cohort students.</div><div>
2. Generate all nursing program candidates&rsquo; acceptance and/or denial written communication.</div><div>
3. Maintain records of program admittance materials, applications, supportive documentation, and communication.</div><div>
4. Responsible for scheduling/reserving classroom spaces/rooms for the Nursing Program.</div><div>
5. Assist with Basic Nurse Assistant IDPH background check and voucher processes.</div><div>
6. Coordinate and implement outreach strategies to attract prospective students and promote nursing programs across the community.</div><div>
7. Serve as a representative of the nursing department at local schools, career fairs, community events, and healthcare-related functions.</div><div>
8. Develop and maintain clinical affiliation agreements in collaboration with the Dean of Nursing and appropriate institutional offices.</div><div>
9. Organize and manage key nursing program events such as orientations, pinning ceremonies, open houses, and guest speaker sessions.</div><div>
10. Collect, manage, and maintain confidential student health and immunization records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.</div><div>
11. Support the onboarding process for incoming nursing students, including tracking compliance with clinical documentation and clearance requirements.</div><div>
12. Maintain accurate outreach, agreement, and event documentation; prepare reports for the Dean of Nursing and college leadership.</div><div>
13. Assist with departmental scheduling, communication, and operational needs as assigned.</div><div>
14. Foster strong relationships with clinical sites, school counselors, and community organizations to support nursing program enrollment and expansion.</div><div>
15. Support Career Programs Coordinator&rsquo;s tasks, as assigned.</div></div>

<div><div><b>Education/Experience</b></div>
<div>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in education, Health Sciences, Public Health, Communications, or a related field.
<br>
<br>
At least two (2) years of related experience in outreach, student recruitment, program coordination, or community engagement required. Knowledge of student services, admission processes and past experience with admissions processes, including assisting students in their completion of admissions materials. Knowledge of Nursing program helpful.<br>

<li>Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), good judgment, flexibility and a team orientation when dealing with students and others.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge/experience discussing degree options with students, including help with interpretation of program core requirements using the online catalog and other marketing materials.</li>
<li>Must have technology experience maintaining college databases for such program requirements as fingerprinting, criminal background information and student health information.</li>

Nursing Pathway Programs Coordinator

<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Under the general supervision, the Building Care Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of college grounds including lawns, shrubbery, trees, care of new and existing flower beds, snow removal, and assistance in preparation of college events on college grounds. The Building Care Specialist is also responsible for general custodial and light maintenance of the MVCC Southwest Education Center (SWEC) extension site.</div><div></div><div><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div><div>
<b>1. Lawn Maintenance and Landscape Care</b><br>
Maintain campus grounds through regular mowing, trimming, and edging. Plant, trim and remove trees and shrubs as needed. Monitor flowers, trees, and shrubs for signs of disease and ensure proper treatment. Water and weed planting beds, picking up litter and overall landscape appearance.</div><div>
<b>2. Snow and Ice Removal</b><br>
Clear sidewalks and walkways of snow and ice. Load, unload, and distribute 50-lb. salt bags to ensure safe pedestrian access. Assist with parking lot plowing operations as needed.</div><div>
<b>3. General Light Maintenance</b><br>
Perform routine maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, installing ceiling tiles, changing filters and replacing damaged floor tiles. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to appropriate personnel.</div><div>
<b>4. Event Setup and Support</b><br>
Prepare campus facilities and grounds for college events by setting up tables and chairs, placing trash receptacles, and posting signage. Maintain event areas by cleaning before and after events.</div><div><b>
5. Custodial Services and Facility Sanitation</b></div><div>
Perform routine and detailed cleaning of campus facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures. Restock restroom supplies such as paper products and soap. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all types of flooring, including tile and carpet. Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, light switches, desks, and counters. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas. Clean interior glass, windows, and entryways.</div><div>
<b>6. Additional Responsibilities</b><br>
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Operations or Building Maintenance Supervisor.</div></div>
