In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and out of our facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all operations. Your contributions will be vital to our commitment to quality service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with established protocols.</li><li>Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting and moving of equipment as necessary for cleaning tasks.</li><li>Assist in food processing areas by maintaining sanitary conditions.</li><li>Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and sanitation compliance.</li><li>Ensure that documentation is completed in full</li><li>Perform limited grounds maintenance such as picking up litter</li><li>Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room, ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked</li><li>Wash windows as needed</li><li>Perform and document routing inspections and maintenance activities</li><li>Cross-train on other duties or areas</li><li>Carry out special projects</li><li>Inspect and assist with repack of damaged product as needed</li><li>Ensure all areas are clear of debris</li><li>Empty all garbage containers as needed</li><li>Able to work independently</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li><li>Requirements</li><li>Previous experience in sanitation or custodial roles preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.</li><li>Familiarity with food safety standards is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions</li><li>Detail-oriented and thorough</li><li>Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance</li><li>Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed</li></ul>If you are passionate about maintaining cleanliness and safety in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for the Sanitation Worker position at Moran Logistics today!Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
