We are currently looking to recruit a Part Time Plumbing &amp; Water Hygiene Engineer to undertake a range of Legionella remedial / light commercial plumbing works and water hygiene tasks while working remotely from our office in Port Talbot, South Wales.PackageSalary: &pound;28,000 &ndash; &pound;33,000 per yearPRO RATA (depending on skills and experience)Holiday: 16.8 days per annum including bank holidays (where applicable) Plus your birthday off +1 extra day after 3 years&rsquo; service, capped at 20 days Company vehicle (van) Technical training and ongoing career progression 1.5 days paid sickness per rolling 12-month period Benenden Healthcare Annual performance bonus (based on individual &amp; company performance)HoursMonday to Wednesday or Wednesdayto Friday 24 hours per week8:00am &ndash; 4:30pm (flexible working available)Occasional weekend work may be required (paid overtime)Work is predominantly across South &amp; West Wales, with occasional support needed in North Wales and the South WestRole managed from our Port Talbot officeResponsibilitiesCarry out Legionella, water hygiene, and plumbing remedial works in accordance with ACoP L8, Water Fittings Regulations, G3 standards, and HSG 274 guidance, including:<ul><li>Installation of vented / unvented hot water heaters up to 400L</li><li>Installation, replacement and upgrades of cold water storage tanks</li><li>Pipework modifications, valve replacements and system upgrades</li><li>TMV installation, replacement and servicing</li><li>Expansion vessel installation and maintenance</li><li>Water tank upgrades and replacements including relining </li><li>RPZ valve installation, commissioning and servicing</li></ul>Assist with water hygiene monitoring tasks where required, including:<ul><li>Temperature monitoring</li><li>Water sampling</li><li>Shower head cleaning and disinfection</li><li>Water tank / calorifier inspections and cleaning / disinfection</li></ul>Additional responsibilities include:<ul><li>Represent Morgan Environmental Ltd professionally on customer sites</li><li>Maintain customer ZetaSafe online logbooks in line with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidance when required </li><li>Complete detailed client plumbing service visit reports outlining works carried out</li><li>Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, managing any follow-up queries</li><li>Communicate effectively each day with onsite staff and office personnel</li><li>Maintain adequate stock of plumbing materials and equipment in the company vehicle</li><li>Follow RAMS, job sheets and customer instructions</li><li>Complete electronic vehicle checks and report any damage/issues to your line manager</li><li>Maintain company equipment in good condition</li><li>Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers</li><li>Take personal responsibility for health &amp; safety</li><li>Report hazards, accidents, incidents and near-misses promptly</li><li>Follow all safe working procedures and correctly wear PPE</li><li>Undertake any other reasonable task required by management</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; ExperienceNVQ Level 2 Plumbing G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification Experience carrying out Legionella plumbing remedial works and TMV installations / servicing Experience working within the commercial plumbing sectorCompetent using press-fit plumbing toolStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent customer service skillsStrong team playerPhysically fitMorgan Environmental Ltd is a well-established and rapidly expanding water hygiene company based in Port Talbot, South Wales.
