Role &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>The individual will be the communication bridge between the import department, dispatch department, warehouse, airport pick up agent and airlines.</li>
<li>Dispatch airport recovery agent for all incoming shipments for MEC ORD.</li>
<li>Update and maintain Excel pick up list multiple times throughout the day so other departments have visibility for all pickups on that day.</li>
<li>Update system when cargo arrives at warehouse.</li>
<li>Pay airlines when needed through Paycargo or other necessary payment methods.</li>
<li>File pre-claims with airlines/freight handler for damages when needed.</li>
<li>Ensure all customer KPI&rsquo;s are met daily.</li>
<li>Load planning/building loads, communicating heavily with team members for consolidation opportunities.</li>
<li>Build &amp; maintain relationships with Carriers.</li>
<li>Negotiate &amp; book trucks in the most cost-effective ways while following customer requirements and insuring on time delivery.</li>
<li>Create BOL&rsquo;s/Delivery Orders in a timely manner, making sure Customs Clearances are in hand before releasing goods.</li>
<li>Data Entry, enter milestones into Morrison system in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Answer emails in a timely &amp; professional manner.</li>
<li>Track and trace orders and enter &amp; upload POD information into the system once delivered.</li>
<li>Approve invoices.</li>
<li>Good driving record, have your own personal vehicle, and able to run to the airport cargo area for cargo inspections.</li>
<li>Other duties assigned by management.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>HS Diploma</li>
<li>1-3 years in a dispatch or truck brokerage environment negotiating rates and booking Dry Vans, Straight Trucks and Sprinter/Cargo Vans with carriers.</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of excel.</li>
<li>Experience with planning/scheduling preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment with a Good Can-Do Attitude.</li>
<li>Good Time Management with attention to detail.</li>
<li>Looking for a detail-oriented individual with the ability to maintain a good positive attitude towards employees, customers, and carriers with the willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.</li>
<li>Must be able to work extended hours when needed.</li></ul></div>

(USA) Air Import (FT Temp)

<div>Role &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies and procedures; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff.</li>
<li>Managing the semi-annual performance review process to ensure completion to be in-line with the salary review and bonus process.</li>
<li>Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers, and promotions.</li>
<li>Responsible for the full onboarding and offboarding cycle. This will include working with the IT department to ensure smooth transitions.</li>
<li>Administer employee leaves, workers&rsquo; compensation, FMLA/CFRA, etc. for all employees and monitor employees on leave.</li>
<li>Manage and process all report requests from the corporate office in Taipei in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>May attend and participate in interactive meetings; and prepare follow-up correspondence regarding interactive meeting proceedings.</li>
<li>Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor/employee relations initiatives; collects information and reports results to corporate.</li>
<li>Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including organizational charts, policies and procedures and employee handbooks.</li>
<li>Assisting with the recruiting process as needed.</li>
<li>Provides supports in all HR functions and any projects, as needed.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or combination equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3+ year&rsquo;s human resources generalist or HR functional experience in progressively responsible roles supporting a diversity of functional groups.</li>
<li>Working knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws.</li>
<li>Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information.</li>
<li>Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.</li>
<li>Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement.</li>
<li>Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems.</li>
<li>Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally.</li>
<li>Candidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team.</li>
<li>Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.</li></ul></div>
