​Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a Service Assistant to join our team at our Brighton branch, located at 1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48116-1604. This team member will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and will work 40 hours a week. Compensation starts from $21-26/hour, depending on experience.Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.Daily Responsibilities:<ul><li>Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.</li><li>Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.</li><li>Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.</li><li>Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.</li><li>Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.</li><li>Processing of warranty claims.</li><li>Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.</li><li>Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.</li><li>Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.</li><li>Additional duties, as assigned.</li></ul>Our Service Assistants Typically Possess:<ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge</li><li>Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li></ul>Our Employees Enjoy These Benefits: We offer health, dental, vision, FSA options, life, and disability insurance available on the first day of employment.
