WORKING WITHIN OUR N.I. WATER / N.I. ELECTRICITY CONTRACTS
Working within our very busy and successful departments we are actively looking for Grab Driver who can demonstrate the following:<ul><li>Previous utility experience</li><li>Good geographical knowledge of Co Down and Co Antrim</li><li>Proven experience driving and operating 8-wheel grab lorries in busy residential areas.</li><li>Sound knowledge of backfill materials/requirements and compaction using vibration tampers.</li><li>Must be able to communicate and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Comply with all legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations applicable with the role.</li><li>Working to the company Health &amp; Safety standards</li></ul>
Hours are 07:00 - 16:30 (Monday- Friday)
Overtime available
Salary is based on experience
About The Role
You will be expected to complete a vehicle check each morning, which includes checking tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels and general condition of the vehicle
You will work to a planned schedule, maintaining records of journey times, mileage and hours worked
Any other adhoc duties as required
Essential requirements include:
Clean and Valid HGV Licence with a minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience.
Valid Hiab Certification
Up to Date CPC Card
Valid Tachograph Card
NRSWA Accreditation
Valid CSR
