Compensation: $85,000 &ndash; $105,000 Annually

This isn't a &quot;desk-only&quot; role. We are looking for a Working Manager who can mentor a team, drive complex migrations, and act as the &quot;Second-in-Command&quot; to our executive technology leadership. Your Impact<ul><li>
Player-Coach Leadership: Directly supervise and mentor help desk and technical staff. You aren&rsquo;t afraid to roll up your sleeves to solve high-level tickets or troubleshoot a server alongside your team.</li><li>
Infrastructure Ownership: Act as the primary lead for network and hardware reliability across multiple distinct business entities.</li><li>
Strategic Deputy: Serve as the 2nd in command for the department. You will have the authority and expertise to provide oversight and maintain security protocols in the absence of the CIO/CISO.</li><li>
High-Stakes Project Management: Lead system migrations, security audits, and hardware refreshes from conception to completion. You are the person who ensures nothing falls through the cracks.</li><li>
24/7 Reliability: In a world of digital finance, downtime is not an option. You will manage the responsiveness of our systems to ensure we remain &quot;always on.&quot;</li></ul>
What You Bring<ul><li>
7+ Years of IT Experience: At least 3 years in a supervisory or technical lead role.</li><li>
Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience in server administration, network architecture, and hardware maintenance.</li><li>
Start-Up Agility: The ability to pivot between the structured environment of a financial institution and the fast-paced, shifting priorities of a start-up.</li><li>
Project Rigor: A track record of delivering complex technical projects with high attention to detail.</li><li>
Dedication: This is a mission-critical role that requires flexibility beyond the standard 8-5 to ensure system stability and project success.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, preferred.</li><li>
Relevant certifications (ITIL, CompTIA certificates, Microsoft (AD/Cloud) certifications, etc.) are highly valued.</li><li>
Strong hands-on experience with server administration, network infrastructure, and hardware support</li><li>
Physical ability to manage hardware (lifting up to 50 lbs, racking servers, and equipment installation).</li></ul>
Technical Skills (preferred)<ul><li>
Backup &amp; Email Security: Veeam, Mimecast
</li><li>Directory &amp; Cloud Services: Windows Active Directory (GPO, OU management), Entra/M365 (Conditional Access, Intune, Hybrid AD, SSO, Purview, Defender)
</li><li>Systems Management: ManageEngine (Service Desk Plus, OpManager, ADManager, ADAudit, Endpoint Central)
</li><li>Security &amp; Monitoring: CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid7 (InsightVM, InsightIDR), Delinea Secret Server
</li><li>Infrastructure: Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows 11, Ubuntu Linux, macOS, Hyper-V
</li><li>Scripting &amp; Automation: PowerShell
</li><li>Other Tools: Fortra GoAnywhere, Zoom, certificate management</li></ul>
