You&rsquo;ll coach a high-performing sales team, elevate the customer experience, mentor the team with clientele building initiatives, and partner with store managers and buyers on-brand with Morton Golf standards.Pay: $30&ndash;$40 per hour based on experience and resultsJob description:<ul><li>Lead daily operations for the men&rsquo;s and ladies&rsquo; apparel, footwear and accessories departments with a relentless focus on customer experience and sales conversion.</li><li>Coach, train, and develop the apparel sales team: onboarding, weekly skills clinics, role-play sessions, and one-to-ones focused on add-on selling, outfitting, and service recovery.</li><li>Own customer relationship management (CRM) practices on the floor: list building, tagging/notes, post-visit follow-ups, appointment selling, and private shopping/clienteling events.</li><li>Build, manage, and grow personal and team client books in alignment with Morton Golf clienteling policies and standards.</li><li>Loss prevention champion: train team on LP awareness, fitting-room SOPs, and exception reporting to reduce shrink.</li><li>Service excellence: model Friendly D-D-D+1 Customer Service, handle escalations, authorize reasonable service recovery, and ensure consistent cashier/returns support.</li><li>Support hiring, performance feedback, recognition, and corrective coaching in partnership with store leadership and HR.</li><li>Maintain a professional demeanor with sincerity, enthusiasm, and top-tier interpersonal communication.</li><li>Commit to ongoing product knowledge through vendor catalogs, tags/pamphlets, and Morton Golf training.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education &ndash; High School Diploma required; college coursework in retail, business, or fashion preferred.</li><li>Experience &ndash; 5&ndash;10 years in retail apparel/footwear, including 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role (key holder, department lead, or manager).</li><li>Proven success with clientele building and appointment selling; able to train others in these practices.</li><li>Comfortable with CRM workflows (e.g., segmenting, notes, follow-ups) and basic retail analytics/KPI dashboards.</li><li>Strong merchandising eye and ability to translate brand stories into full-look outfits that sell.</li><li>Organized, dependable, and proactive; able to set priorities and hold self and team accountable.</li><li>Golf industry familiarity is a plus, but passion for service and fashion fit is essential.</li></ul>Morton Golf Business Purpose&ldquo;To enrich lives, one customer at a time.&rdquo; Every owner, manager and employee that is part of the staff of Morton Golf understands they are part of a bigger purpose than just having a job or working at the golf facilities.
