Legal Secretary - Family Law - Irvine (In Office)Moshtael Family Law is one of the largest family law litigation firms in Orange County, CA. Our practice focuses on resolving a variety of family law issues, including: divorce, child custody, annulments, grandparent visitations, premarital agreements, spousal support, adoptions, domestic violence restraining orders, and child support.We are reviewing applications with the goal of adding one legal secretary to our litigation department. The legal secretary will help support one of our existing legal teams and must be able to effectively collaborate with team members working both in office and/or remote.Job Duties:&middot; Prepare form pleadings (Judicial Council Forms) using firm&rsquo;s form generating software&middot; Prepare correspondence to clients, experts, court personnel and opposing attorneys&middot; Process outgoing documents, including mail, fax, and the submission of documents for filing with the Court and for service of process&middot; Scan/copy/file legal documents&middot; Maintain and update client files, both physical and electronic&middot; Gather and assemble relevant case materials for court hearings, deposition, and settlement conferences, as well as transcribe video/audio exhibitsQualifications:&middot; Minimum 1-year of legal secretary/paralegal/law clerk or similar clerical experience&middot; Ability to triage tasks and maintain strict deadlines&middot; Strong organizational skills&middot; Proficient computer skills using Mac OS and Microsoft OfficeCompensation: Depends upon experienceBenefits after successfully clearing 90-day probation period of full-time work: Vacation pay, Sick pay, medical insurance (100% for employee), Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Term-Life Insurance, and 401(k) Retirement plan.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Irvine, CA 92614 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
