Assists with the smooth functioning of OT&Auml; Adherence to Nursing Clinical standards:- Understands the OT routine, equipment and patients.- Aware of the O.T. protocols and the layout.- Checks the surgery schedule and prepares for the cases: medication, consumables, instruments and equipment are available for the surgery.- Checks all equipment are functional; conducts random checks of surgical and laparoscopic instruments ensuring they are functional.- Identifies instruments as per the surgery, checks cleanliness and proper functioning of instruments, pack and send for autoclaving / gas sterilization.- Strictly follows aseptic technique.- Is aware of and implements all protocols - hand washing, infection control, medication, narcotic policy, personal valuables, follows the dress code in and out of the restricted areas.- Assists in surgical procedures.- Receives the patient in the preoperative area, checks for: right patient, correct documents, right surgery and transfers to the Operation Theatre.- Checks the preparation of the patient for cleanliness, skin shaving for the particular surgery.- Follows pre-anesthetic medications if any.- To check and record vital signs legibly and promptly.- Ensures that all investigations are carried out as advised by the doctor, reports available on time for doctor&rsquo;s perusal and further advice.- To ensure that all the materials needed for the surgeries as per Procurement Monitoring Report sheet and instrument sets, Linen, Gowns, etc., are available.- Procures all blood and blood products for transfusion. Any reactions must be reported totreating consultant, IC &amp; NS immediately.- Strictly follows WHO surgical safety process in OT &ndash; count of instruments, consumables - to check the instrument trolley carefully and record items likely to be left inside.- Checks for the right patient, I.D. No., site of surgery, type of surgery, and operating surgeon when the anesthetist calls, &ldquo;Time out&rdquo; inside the operation theatre.- Rechecks instrument trolley items as per record and gives clearance to the surgeon for closing.- Any errors in medication / nursing intervention to be brought immediately to the notice of OT In-Charge.- Monitors Histopathology sample dispatch as per standards.- Handles waste segregation and disposal as per the policy.- Wash, dry, lubricate joints, check the functioning of instruments, pack and dispatch for autoclaving.- Cleans the patient after applying the dressing and place in a comfortable position.- Strictly follows surgical safety measures involved in patient care and self-protection.- Ensures documentation for all completed surgeries is updated and accurate.- Ensures the patient is shifted properly to the recovery room as soon as the anesthetist gives the clearance.- Ensures that postoperative patients are handled carefully in the recovery room and transferred according to the protocol.- Scrub nurse to fill up intra operative nursing record.- Transfer the patient to postoperative ward.- Postoperative nurse to complete the postoperative flow sheet.- Posted in recovery &amp; day care: To co-ordinate with IP coordinator / Billing assistants regarding admissions, discharges and billing activities of the patients.- To settle PMR and to hand over the remaining materials to the OT store.- Ensures patient rights are protected and medication safety is practiced.- Maintains confidentiality of patient information: medical and personal; avoids any violation by ensuring no discussion of patient identifiable information in non-secure areas.- Builds and maintains cordial relationship with surgeons and anesthetists.- Co-ordinates with OT technician, biomedical team and housekeeping staff.- Aware of and practices narcotic management &ndash; storage &amp; documentation of usage.- Aware of NABH &amp; Nursing excellence standards and ensures implementation.- To conduct carbonizations &amp; thorough environmental study of Operation Theatres as per schedule; To supervise and ensure it is done regularly and effectively.- To periodically monitor the use of disinfectants.- To raise requisitions on the computer for drugs.- Maintain personal, patients and environmental hygiene.&Auml; Fulfilling the Service Vision &amp; Inter-department Coordination:- Is well-groomed as per standard; maintains discipline and decorum.- Responsible for the implementation of the Service Vision &ndash; ensures personalized care while delivering service.- Coordinates with support departments to ensure patient and attendants are comfortable and services are as per standard.- Maintains a cordial interpersonal relationship with all colleagues.- Coordinates and works closely with LDR, OT, Wards Pharmacy &amp; Lab.&Auml; OT Management:- Ensures no misuse or wastage of material, contributes to cost control.- Assists with material management &ndash; documentation, Indenting, receiving stock, storage and usage.Ensures no wastage and misuse.- Takes over and hands over accurately at change of shifts.- Maintains the medical and nursing records of patients as per the institutional requirements.- Collects data accurately as per protocol; collects data for Nursing Quality Indicators.- Coordinates and works closely with LDR, NICU &amp; Ward.- Willingly accepts additional tasks, deployment based on operational requirement.&Auml; Personal Development:- Attend in-service programs and trainings to enhance knowledge.- Ensures is up to date with latest protocols and practices.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;21,000.00 - &#8377;38,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Ensure Adherence to all protocols and providing Care Like No Other&Auml; At OP:- Greet customers with warmth &amp; politeness.- Guide them to the area they are required to go.- Attend to all guests promptly and courteously; coordinate services as per their requirements.- Be aware of customers names, their appointment time and greet repeat customers with recognition and warmth.- Help customers fill the registration forms and any related documents.- Complete the Registration Process and generate UHID Cards for patients.- Handle VIP customers with special attention; ensure all departments are alert and services are smooth.- Ensure that customers are comfortable; keep track of them and in case of any changes to their schedule, update them at the earliest.- While talking to customers, pay full attention, understand their specific queries and respond appropriately. If you are unable to resolve the query, seek assistance from a senior.- Communicate updates of the patients to their relatives&rsquo; time to time.- Coordinate patient movement into Consultant chambers; be alert and track waiting patients.- Be aware of open slots for walk-in patients; schedule them as per availability.- If consultant advises, accompany patients to referred departments for investigations.- Ensure Billing is advised to charge for all diagnostic services and bills are updated accurately.- Make bookings (reservations) for the beds if required; book appropriate bed type.- Be aware of escalation matrix.- Collect feedback from all customers.Admissions :- Receive admission request form from patient.- Conduct the admission process smoothly, ensure all documents are duly filled and signed by patient/attendant; all fields are filled in the admission portal; appropriate Bed is blocked- Collect deposit- Escort patient to the floor and assigned room- Nursing station and concerned consultant is informed about the admissionReports Dispatch :- Coordinate hand over of reports not collected by customer earlier.Administrative:- Understand Hospital Information System for carrying out billing jobs. Prepare bills by entering all lab orders, medications, and services given to patients.- At Hospitals that don&rsquo;t have own Blood Bank :Arrange blood as per doctors&rsquo; advice.
