<div>The National Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationships with customers and corporate offices. This includes developing and growing current business relationships. The National Account Manager ensures that Daikin is always represented in a professional and courteous manner and the customer service experience with Daikin is the best in the industry.

Position Responsibilities may include:
<ul>
<li>Acts as liaison between Distributors and Corporate offices</li>
<li>Develops and implements best practices for establishing, building, and maintaining customer relationships to position the company as a supplier of choice</li>
<li>Travel to work trade shows and open houses required</li>
<li>Conduct face-to-face meetings with distributor principles and their management teams</li>
<li>Conduct distributor visits as required</li>
<li>Resolve market conflict within various Daikin Distribution channels</li>
<li>Assist in sales planning and forecasting</li>
<li>Execute sales efforts to achieve budgetary goals</li>
<li>Make recommendations as necessary to improve services and expand on local successes in new markets</li>
<li>Identify untapped or underdeveloped market opportunities</li>
<li>Work alongside Company Owned Distribution in the expectations of supporting National Accounts</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively amongst all organizational departments</li>
<li>Working knowledge of PAP and Rebate Automation</li>
<li>Performs other tasks as assigned</li>
</ul>
Nature &amp; Scope:
<ul>
<li>Ensures work is aligned with the Director&rsquo;s expectations, goals, and vision</li>
<li>Accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results</li>
<li>Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director</li>
<li>Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects</li>
<li>Provides guidance and training to subordinates</li>
<li>Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination</li>
<li>Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to quickly establish rapport; developing credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment within assigned relationships</li>
<li>Demonstrated sound decision making with diplomacy and adherence to company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Ability to work within a matrix organization and work closely with all business divisions to meet very short deadlines often requiring long periods of continuous work</li>
<li>Significant knowledge base in corporate and field selling environments</li>
<li>Ability to work well with others, even remotely, with successful history of leading a diverse group</li>
<li>Skilled at influencing others at all organizational levels, including the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly with senior managers/decision-makers</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage risk and be innovative in problem-solving</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to interpret technical information and adapt it to the needs of a business audience</li>
<li>Ability to present information to a variety of audiences, external and internal</li>
<li>Demonstrated high business acumen and understanding of finance/financial principles</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in channel partner models and the local competitive environment</li>
<li>Ability to engage in travel without restriction, both domestically and internationally</li>
<li>Working knowledge of MS Office &ndash; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (Access is a plus)</li>
</ul>
Competency:

Experience:
<ul>
<li>3 - 7 years minimum of progressive responsibility in strategic sales or sales management to mid-size and large customers.</li>
<li>Proven experience providing strategic account management to mid-size and large organizations through matrix environments, requiring multi-million dollar complex contracts</li>
<li>Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs</li>
<li>Experience developing and managing new and existing accounts and selling within all levels (including C-level) of an organization</li>
<li>Deep experience utilizing solution selling techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and measure business problems</li>
</ul>
Education/Certification:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, Business or marketing preferred</li>
</ul>
People Management: No

Salary: $105,780.00 to $132,225.00
