Motivational Systems, Inc., an established signage and graphics company, is currently seeking a Production Artist for our Phoenix team. The Production Artist is responsible for the accuracy and quality of an art file for use in sign manufacturing. The Production Artist applies design changes and recommendations to each project while handling an array of projects at any given moment.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare submittal drawings.</li><li>Prepare final production-ready files based on supplied specifications.</li><li>Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.</li><li>Provide image manipulation.</li><li>Create, weed, and apply vinyl to products using a vinyl plotter.</li><li>Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative and the production team.</li><li>Make changes to product based on feedback from management and clients.</li><li>Meets with design and technical staff on projects, technical specifications, and deadlines.</li><li>Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong ability to effectively communicate with internal staff, both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Demonstrates pride in their work and determination to finish the job.</li><li>Strong skills in organizing and working on several tasks concurrently, as well as in giving proper attention to details.</li><li>An eye for detail.</li><li>Proficient in Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Must be able to run vinyl plotter, weed, and apply vinyl.</li><li>Possess 2+ years of experience within the signage industry.</li></ul>Motivational Systems, Inc.
