Mount Regis Center is looking for a part time driver to transport patients to and from the facility. Average of 15-25 hours a week.</div><div></div><div><br>
Must live in the Roanoke/Salem area as the position requires short term notice for transportation. MUST be willing to work flexible hours, must be able to drive longer distances if needed and work weekends.</div><div></div><div><br>
If in recovery, you must be one year sober.</div><div></div><div><br>
PURPOSE STATEMENT:</div><div>
Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events.</div>
Responsibilities:
<div>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</div><ul><li>Pick up or transports visitors or staff as needed.</li><li>Transport patients for admissions and discharges.</li><li>Assure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts before the vehicle is started.</li><li>Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment, as needed.</li><li>Respond and adhere to &ldquo;on call&rdquo; schedule as required.</li><li>Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation.</li><li>Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff.</li><li>Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional.</li><li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</div><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>Valid State Driver&rsquo;s License required.</li><li>CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).</li><li>First aid may be required based on state or facility.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
