Moveras, LLC, a leading manufacturer in the automotive remanufacturing industry, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of parts, materials, and services that support daily production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, contributing to the team&rsquo;s overall success while maintaining reliable supplier partnerships.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Support daily purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials, components, and supplies.</li><li>
Partner with suppliers to drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery performance.</li><li>
Create and manage purchase orders accurately and on time, monitoring order status to ensure on-schedule delivery.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address material shortages and prevent production delays.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing data, supplier records, and order information within internal systems.</li><li>
Conduct price comparisons, request supplier quotations, and review cost variances to identify potential savings opportunities.</li><li>
Work with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies, manage material returns, and address quality concerns promptly.</li><li>
Provide cross-coverage and collaboration across the procurement team to maintain smooth operations and business continuity.</li><li>
Adhere to and promote company purchasing policies, procedures, and ethical standards.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>
Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>
1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials coordination within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and cross-department interaction.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-driven environment.</li><li>
Basic understanding of Kanban or materials replenishment systems.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

We are seeking an experienced, quality driven, passionate and vibrant materials manager to drive and oversee this piece of our organization into our next phase of growth. The individual in this hands-on role will take the lead in sourcing of reclaimed and new production materials, coordinating all purchasing functions and managing raw materials, in-process and finished goods inventory. This person will be a key contributor to our management team and will successfully drive alignment within these disciplines.</p><p></p><p><br>
Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide leadership/direction to all buyers in the procurement of components, raw materials, equipment and supplies required to hit on-time delivery, quality and cost targets</li><li>Manage and refine the Kanban-based materials system that has been established to support cell assembly</li><li>Develop relationships with suppliers and implement strategies to ensure best prices and continuous supply and availability of production materials</li><li>Manage supplier returns; drive quality back to suppliers</li><li>Design, implement, manage and monitor procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements</li><li>Verify, track and account for all materials or merchandise involved with sustaining the operation of the business as well as developing</li><li>Track and control materials cost by developing efficient and cost-effective ordering system</li><li>Drive implementation of best practices in all material and purchasing functions.</li><li>Implement processes/systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data input and ERP system transactions within materials and purchasing</li><li>Drive accuracy of raw materials inventory</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business or equivalent</li><li>5 + years&rsquo; experience in a lead materials management role with additional logistics responsibilities</li><li>Project management background &ndash; negotiation and problem-solving skills</li><li>A successful career path that shows progressive growth and responsibility.</li><li>Leadership and communications skills and a strong internal desire to help people grow and become their greater selves. We need a well led and highly motivated team to achieve the greatness we envision.</li><li>The willingness to be an integral part of the management team and have the ability to help us define and manage the company culture.</li><li>Must have ability to work with statistical analyses/financial transactions and concepts</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills that include spreadsheet experience</li><li>Innovative and creative approach to drive cost reduction</li><li>Confident, composed and has the ability to change direction with minimal notice</li><li>Analytical, excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
