Summary<ul><li>The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the best performance possible of the company&rsquo;s equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will also assist in reducing the risks that may result from idle time of equipment due to break down.</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>*Evening Shift* 3:00PM - 12:00AM. </li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.</li><li>Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.</li><li>Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.</li><li>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</li><li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.</li><li>Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.</li><li>Use the variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.</li><li>Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations, GMPs and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li><li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in similar role.</li><li>Experience in a plant environment strongly desired.</li><li>Practical knowledge of plant electrical/mechanical systems.</li><li>Bilingual Spanish Preferred.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Studies in Mechanical or Electrical field. SummaryThe Electronics Technician will play a vital role in our Maintenance Department. Will perform a wide range of duties including: operating, troubleshooting and maintaining the production software, hardware and database management for multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of managing SQL databases and network installations. The Electronics Technician will also be responsible for diagnosing malfunctions, performing tests, and following technical manuals to ensure proper functioning of equipment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform periodic analysis of hardware and software, using available technology and testing tools.</li><li>Installing and repairing electronic equipment.</li><li>Aligning and calibrating cables and wiring.</li><li>Monitoring and reporting on project progress.</li><li>Estimate damage and calculate the cost of materials.</li><li>Test system functionality and analyze data.</li><li>Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures.</li><li>Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams.</li><li>Update reports and maintain inventory.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and the maintenance team on technical tasks.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and incorporate new technology into existing units.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>A minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in a similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL databases, and tools for electronic repairs.</li><li>Skilled in Control Systems with basic electrical skills.</li><li>Proficient in problem-solving in a fast pace environment.</li><li>Must be process driven, analytical, and possess strong technical knowledge.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of databases and network management.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Bilingual Spanish (Preferred).</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field preferred.</li></ul>** All requirements and skills are considered to be essential, unless otherwise indicated.****Mowi is an Equal Opportunity Employer**The above job description is not an all-encompassing list of duties and responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
