Position Overview
We are hiring an Experienced Drain Technician / Plumber to run weekend service calls from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekday evening on-call availability from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the possibility of occasional late-night calls.

Compensation
Weekend Pay (Saturday &amp; Sunday, 9 AM &ndash; 5 PM)<ul><li>
$35 &ndash; $45/hr (based on experience)</li></ul>
Weekday Evening &amp; Occasional Late-Night On-Call<ul><li>
$25/day guaranteed On-Call Pay (paid with or without calls)</li><li>
$42 &ndash; $52/hr if dispatched</li><li>
Occasional late-night calls possible (paid at same hourly rate)</li></ul>
Additional Earning Potential<ul><li>
Sales Commissions on approved work performed or sold</li><li>

Experienced techs in this role generally earn:
$70,000 &ndash; $130,000+ per year (hourly + on-call + commissions)
Responsibilities
Weekend Responsibilities (9:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM)<ul><li>
Run residential drain and plumbing service calls independently</li><li>
Operate drain cleaning equipment including:</li><li>
Hand snakes</li><li>
Powered snakes</li><li>
RIDGID drain machines</li><li>
Sewer inspection cameras</li><li>
Locator tools</li><li>
Light hydro-jetting for small/interior lines</li><li>
Diagnose sewer/drain issues using camera and locator</li><li>
Perform basic plumbing repairs:</li><li>
Traps</li><li>
Toilet resets</li><li>
Garbage disposals</li><li>
Minor leak repairs</li><li>
Conduct whole-home plumbing inspections</li><li>
Present multiple repair and replacement options using the Mr. Rooter process</li><li>
Document all work using the company iPad</li></ul>
Weekday Evening On-Call (5:00 PM &ndash; 9:00 PM)<ul><li>
Be available for service calls</li><li>
Receive $25/day guaranteed</li><li>
Paid hourly if dispatched</li><li>
Occasional late-night calls may occur (paid at the same rate)</li><li>
No scheduled overnight shifts</li></ul>
Required Experience
Must Have:<ul><li>
2+ years of residential and some commercial drain cleaning experience</li><li>
Ability to confidently use:</li><li><ul><li>Manual and powered snakes</li><li>RIDGID drain machines</li><li>Sewer cameras</li><li>Locator equipment</li><li>Light hydro-jetting</li></ul></li><li>
Ability to independently complete service calls and sell solutions</li><li>
Strong communication skills with homeowners</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and insurable MVR</li><li>
Ability to lift more than 50 lbs</li><li>
Ability to work in basements, crawlspaces, and confined areas</li></ul>
Preferred but Not Required:<ul><li>
Hydro-jetting larger exterior sewer lines</li><li>
Experience with cast iron, clay, terracotta, and PVC systems</li><li>
Minor plumbing repair background</li><li>
Flat-rate or franchise service model experience</li></ul>
