Schedule: </b>Monday&ndash;Fridays; Start time is 6:00AM year-round, with a varying end time.</div><div>

SUMMARY</b></h2><div>
Machine Operator 1 will be responsible for understanding and operating assigned equipment located on the South side of the plant. They will ensure products are packaged to Mrs. Gerry&rsquo;s quality and safety standards.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs.</li><li>
Comply with all Food Safety procedures at all times.</li><li>
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>
Set up, sanitize, wash down, and break down machinery per standard operating procedures.</li><li>
Ensure all lids, containers and box labels represent the product being filled.</li><li>
Ensure weight of each container of salad per product specification.</li><li>
Verify all dates and product names on product and boxes.</li><li>
Utilize and adjust metal detectors.</li><li>
Box and palletize products.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.</li><li>
Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li><li>
Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.</li><li>
Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.</li></ul></div><p></p>
