Role Purpose
Drive sustainable growth of the Vaccines portfolio in the public sector by leading a high-performing sales team, shaping customer engagement strategies, and ensuring strong execution across national immunization priorities, institutional accounts, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business &amp; Sales Leadership
Deliver public sector sales targets (revenue, volume, and market share) in line with business objectives.
Translate business strategy into clear territory plans, KPIs, and execution priorities for the sales team.
Ensure disciplined execution of sales plans with strong performance tracking and accountability mechanisms.
Drive accurate forecasting, demand planning, and financial management (sales, ROI).
2. Team Leadership, Coaching &amp; Capability Building
Build, lead, and sustain a high-performing, diverse sales team aligned with our company's Ways of Working and leadership expectations.
Act as a true coach in the field, dedicating structured time to joint visits, observation, and real-time feedback to elevate individual performance.
Implement individualized development plans for each team member with clear capability goals, timelines, and measurable progress tracking.
Drive excellence in core field capabilities including account planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic selling, and value communication.
Establish a strong performance management culture, ensuring clear objectives, continuous feedback, and differentiated performance outcomes.
Identify high-potential talent and actively build a robust succession pipeline for critical roles within the organization.
Lead regular capability reviews and team performance discussions, using data and insights to identify gaps and implement targeted development interventions.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and growth mindset, enabling team members to take initiative and continuously improve.
Create a learning organization environment by promoting knowledge sharing, best practice exchange, and peer-to-peer coaching across the team.
Ensure strong engagement and retention through recognition, career development opportunities, and a motivating team environment.
3. Public Sector &amp; Stakeholder Engagement
Build and sustain strong partnerships with key public stakeholders (MOH, government institutions, public healthcare providers).
Drive strategic account management across key public customers and vaccination programs.
Support engagement in national immunization initiatives, campaigns, and public health programs.
Ensure alignment with national health priorities and evolving policy landscape.
4. Execution Excellence &amp; Operations
Ensure high-quality execution of all field activities in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Monitor and optimize field force effectiveness using data, insights, and CRM tools.
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuous business delivery.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams (Medical, Market Access, Supply Chain, Marketing).
5. Market &amp; Business Insights
Continuously analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
Identify growth opportunities (market expansion, penetration, new accounts, demand generation).
Provide actionable insights to inform strategy, planning, and resource allocation.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the primary interface between Sales and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
Contribute to integrated brand and customer strategies.
Support launch readiness and execution of new vaccines in the public sector.
Requirements
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of pharmaceutical experience with a strong track record in sales.
Prior people management experience is preferred.
Experience in vaccines and/or public sector is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel (~50%) across the Kingdom.
High level of integrity and compliance mindset.

National Sales Manager - Vaccines - KSA

<div>Job Description
This role will be based in Riyadh
The Brand &amp; Customer Manager role represents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact for patients in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for leading and coordinating efforts across the Cardiometabolic portfolio, with main focus on the launch of our new PCSK9 inhibitor.
In this role, you will play a critical part within the Pharmaceutical Business Unit in Saudi Arabia, ensuring launch excellence and long-term brand success. You will maximize the value of the assigned brands by delivering on sales and market share objectives, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.
You will lead and drive both the strategic and operational processes for the assigned brands, including launch preparation, lifecycle management, and long-term brand strategy, while coordinating cross-functional collaboration across the Cross Functional Team (CFT).
Key responsibilities:
1. Launch Excellence / Brand Strategy &amp; Planning<ul><li>
Drive launch excellence by developing and executing a comprehensive launch plan, including product positioning, pre-launch activities, patient journey mapping, and insights generation.</li><li>
Develop and implement robust brand plans in collaboration with the CFT, including positioning, segmentation, and messaging strategies.</li><li>
Lead brand planning and forecasting in coordination with relevant stakeholders (finance, sales team, etc..).</li><li>
Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.</li><li>
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions. Identify opportunities to be unlocked and partner with the relevant stakeholders to drive results, such as the Market Access team.</li><li>
Identify and monitor competitors, market conditions, and industry changes that may impact sales in the assigned portfolio.</li><li>
Partner with Market Access and other stakeholders to unlock opportunities and support optimal patient access.</li><li>
Identify high-potential accounts and map key stakeholders and patient pathways within the healthcare ecosystem.</li></ul>
2. Promotional &amp; Campaign Management<ul><li>
Lead the development of integrated communication strategy (digital, print, in-person), including promotional materials and multi-channel campaigns, partnering with external agencies as needed.</li><li>
Coordinate with medical, regulatory, and legal departments for approval processes.</li><li>
Develop and support the implementation of effective brand launch and portfolio selling strategies.</li></ul>
3. Stakeholder Engagement<ul><li>
External Stakeholders Engagement: Develop strong relationships and partner with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs), to support brand awareness and education, through in-person interaction, events &amp; Congresses and activities.</li><li>
Internal Stakeholders Engagement: Partner closely with the CFT to align on strategic objectives, build a comprehensive plan and related activities/tasks (including support in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities) and monitor implementation.</li></ul><ul><li>
Support the CFT in staying up-to date on the latest product and therapeutic area information.</li><li>
Support the sales force through training, marketing tools, and clear brand communication.</li></ul>
4. Budget &amp; Operations<ul><li>
Manage brand budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.</li><li>
Maintain a complete database of all planned and implemented activities per brand to effectively track progress and keep stakeholders informed.</li><li>
Monitor sales data, CRM outputs, and marketing KPIs to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.</li><li>
Complete and submit all assigned reports in an accurate manner and as per schedule date.</li></ul>
5. Personal Development<ul><li>
Continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills to follow new marketing trends and methodologies relevant to the assigned portfolio and stays up-to date on the latest product and therapeutic area information for all allocated portfolio indications by attending internal scientific and product trainings, conferences and symposia, as well as by self-study;</li><li>
Writes his/her EDP with guidance and agreement of the Manager, who assesses it quarterly for progress.</li></ul>
Compliance<ul><li>
Ensure strict adherence to pharma marketing compliance, ethical codes, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>
Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory and company standards.</li><li>
Ensure that all relevant company policies, business practices, local Laws and regulations, and compliance guidelines are being followed ensuring high compliance and ethics standards. Ensure highest level of integrity in the territory.</li></ul>

Previous experience in the Cardiometabolic area and/or launch experience in KSA is preferred</li><li>
