Key responsibilities:<ul><li>
Ensure timely preparation, submission and appropriate follow-up &amp; approval of new Marketing Authorization applications to the local authorities.</li><li>
Ensure maintenance of assigned authorized products through timely submission of variations, renewal applications, and supplemental marketing authorizations.</li><li>
For assigned products ensures high quality labelling translation, review and artwork management including submission, follow up, approval, communication, systems update and implementation.</li><li>
Ensure all relevant systems updates, Regulatory compliance, quality, new system implementation and digital processes</li><li>
Supports the agency interactions to ensure a seamless submission, assessment, and quick approval of the assigned Therapeutic Areas / portfolio, according to the new regulations, in cooperation with other internal stakeholders.</li><li>
Stay updated on international and local regulations and guidelines.</li><li>
Collects relevant publicly available regulatory information (regulatory intelligence) and keeps relevant Stakeholders appropriately informed.</li><li>
Maintains a positive relationship with internal and external regulatory contacts on sub-regional, regional and global level, and cross functional stakeholders.</li><li>
Maintain professional relationship with External parties as Agents and health authorities contacts , as well as other key players in the regulatory environment.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum of 4&ndash;5 years of regulatory experience in the GCC region is an asset, preferably in multinational pharma companies.</li><li>
Strong communication (Bilingual: in English and Arabic) and active listening skills; able to tailor messages to diverse stakeholders.</li><li>
Proven experience in cross-functional collaborations; ability to work harmoniously within teams.</li><li>
Adaptability and ability to work in a multicultural environment</li><li>
Strategic thinking &amp; problem-solving skills, and Digital capabilities</li><li>
Time management, multitasking, and deadline adherence (timely KPIs, compliance focus).</li><li>
AI knowledge &amp; application as a plus.</li></ul>

Role Overview
A Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines/report and infrastructure that facilitate the collection, storage, and processing of large datasets. They ensure data/insight is accessible, reliable, and optimized for analysis by collaborating with data scientists and analysts. Key tasks include data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, report design and managing databases and cloud-based systems. Data engineers play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring data quality across organizations.
What will you do in this role<ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract data from various sources and populate a data lake and data warehouse.</li><li>
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.</li><li>
Build and maintain platforms that support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration across various data sources, both internal and external.</li><li>
Use data orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools to build resilient pipelines.</li><li>
Automate data flows and pipeline monitoring to ensure scalability, performance, and resilience of the DI platform.</li><li>
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the data integration platform, ensuring uptime and reliability.</li><li>
Maintain thorough documentation for integration processes, configurations, and code to ensure easy onboarding for new team members and future scalability.</li><li>
Develop pipelines to ingest data into cloud data warehouses.</li><li>
Establish, modify and maintain data structures and associated components.</li><li>
Create and deliver standard reports in accordance with stakeholder needs and conforming to agreed standards.</li><li>
Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the project manager.</li><li>
Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both functional and project goals.</li><li>
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance</li><li>
Act as decision authority for technical decisions within your area of responsibility.</li></ul>
What should you have<ul><li>
Bachelors&rsquo; degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.</li><li>
5+ years of developing data pipelines &amp; data infrastructure, ideally within a drug development or life sciences context.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale information management technology solutions encompassing data integration and self-service analytics enablement.</li><li>
Experienced in software/data engineering practices (including versioning, release management, deployment of datasets, agile &amp; related software tools).</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of at least one large-scale data processing technology (e.g., High-performance computing, distributed computing), databases, and underlying technology (cloud or on-prem environments, containerization, distributed storage &amp; databases)</li><li>
Cloud-native, ideally AWS certified.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of at least one Reporting/Insight generation technology</li><li>
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).</li><li>
Proven record of delivering high-quality results.</li><li>
Product and customer-centric approach.</li><li>
