MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MEDICAL SCRIBE EXPERIENCE!!!MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, performing EKGs and administering medications as directed by physician.Additionally, must perform the following:<ul><li>Accompany the healthcare provider into patient examination rooms in order to transcribe the patient&rsquo;s history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and other evaluations, as stated by the provider, directly into the medical record</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive list of active patients to help the provider remain organized</li><li>Prepare plans for follow-up care, as directed by the provider</li><li>Process necessary paperwork</li><li>Ability to move about and follow a healthcare provider for extended periods of time</li><li>Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to read, write, comprehend through listening, and speak fluent English</li><li>Ability to operate a computer and/or laptop through proficient typing, clicking, and viewing a monitor for extended periods</li><li>Ability to handwrite legibly</li></ul>Required education:<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent. License/Certification of approved and Medical Assistant program and CPR Certification.</li></ul>Required experience:<ul><li>Medical Assistant: 1 year</li><li>Medical Terminology: 1 year</li><li>Familiar with office and medical equipment; knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures</li></ul>Required language:<ul><li>Spanish</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $14.00 per hourWork Location: In person
