The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional, comprehensive support to key individuals within the club, ensuring their non-footballing needs are managed with the highest level of professionalism and discretion. This full-time, fully remote role requires a proactive and empathetic individual who can work independently to deliver outstanding care and administrative support. Responsibilities As a Specialist Care Officer, you will be a central point of contact, managing a wide range of tasks to ensure the well-being and smooth operation of daily life for our personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:  <ul><li>Acting as the primary liaison for a designated group of players, staff, or academy members, providing tailored support and assistance.</li><li>Coordinating and managing complex schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.</li><li>Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.</li><li>Liaising effectively with internal departments, including coaching staff, medical teams, and administration, to ensure a seamless support network.</li><li>Proactively identifying potential issues and developing solutions to ensure the welfare of club personnel.</li><li>Providing first-class administrative support, including managing correspondence and maintaining accurate records.</li><li>Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships to foster a positive and supportive environment.</li></ul>Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a blend of exceptional organisational skills and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record in a similar support-focused role.  <ul><li>Demonstrable experience in a role requiring a high level of care and administration, such as a Player Liaison Officer, Welfare Officer, or Executive Assistant, preferably within a sports or high-performance environment.</li><li>Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>A high degree of professionalism, empathy, and discretion is essential.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote working environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a calm and methodical approach.</li><li>Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software.</li><li>A genuine passion for football and an understanding of the unique demands of a professional sports club is highly desirable.</li></ul> Benefits We are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding environment for our staff.
