</b></p><div><div>The Solution Architect plays a critical role in bridging long-term enterprise strategy with the practical delivery of technology solutions across business domains. This role ensures that solution designs are aligned with MUFG&rsquo;s strategic objectives, technology roadmaps, and enterprise architecture principles. A key responsibility is defining and evolving foundational enterprise architecture elements&mdash;such as domain models, integration patterns, data and security frameworks&mdash;that enable the organisation&rsquo;s future-state architecture. The Solution Architect provides architectural oversight, fosters coherence across solution landscapes, and collaborates closely with business and technology stakeholders to support capability planning, promote reuse and standardisation, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and future-ready. <div><b>Experience &amp; Personal Attributes
</b></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
</li><li>8+ years of experience in solution architecture or related roles.
</li><li>Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS and GCP although primarily Azure).
</li><li>Familiarity with EA frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
</li><li>Experience with microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
</li><li>Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF are a plus.

  The First Line of Defense Unit is responsible to perform the Quality Assurance review of KYC routine review. Operations for both new onboarding, periodic reviews and ad-hoc reassessment. The objectives of the routine reviews are to ensure of having a control process to determine whether process output adheres to established quality objectives and to provide reasonable assurance to management that target outcomes are achieved. As such, KYC QA reviews are an integral part of process management and improvement. It is the responsibility of process owners to ensure that results of QA reviews pertaining to the financial crimes control processes under their purview are: (i) communicated to the appropriate parties; and (ii) addressed in a timely manner. This position is typically expected to work a very large number of reviews with little oversight. Provides technical guidance to staff for research, analysis and documentation. May receive delegated responsibilities from management.
