Job Title: Data EngineerCompany: Revolite Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-Time (Work From Office) Experience Required: 2+ YearsAbout the RoleRevolite is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data systems that power analytics, AI, and business intelligence across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and a strong foundation in Python and SQL.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data</li><li>Develop ETL/ELT workflows with focus on data quality, consistency and security</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prepare analytics-ready and ML-ready datasets</li><li>Manage and optimize data warehouses, data lakes and streaming data environments</li><li>Build and automate workflows using Python (mandatory)</li><li>Develop high-performance APIs using FastAPI (good to have)</li><li>Apply LLM knowledge for intelligent automation (good to have)</li><li>Implement data governance, cataloging and lineage practices</li><li>Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis)</li><li>Ensure best practices in data standards, quality and automation</li><li>Support data migration, transformation and system integration projects</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering</li><li>Strong SQL proficiency (PostgreSQL / MySQL)</li><li>Experience working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Terra)</li><li>Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, Airflow or similar platforms</li><li>Strong Python (or Scala) programming skills for data processing</li><li>Experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration</li><li>Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing and performance optimization</li><li>Familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase or Power BI</li><li>Understanding of data security and regulatory compliance (GDPR preferred)</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)<ul><li>Experience with FastAPI</li><li>Knowledge of LLMs and AI-based automation</li></ul>Work ModeWork From Office &mdash; ChennaiHow to ApplyInterested candidates can share their resume at: madhan@revolite.ioJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to &#8377;600,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
