JOB OVERVIEWThe Procurement Manager plays a critical role in driving Multi-Pak Packaging&rsquo;s growth and profitability by ensuring we have the right suppliers, materials, and sourcing strategies to meet our business needs. This role goes beyond transactional purchasing, it is about building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing cost and quality, and ensuring our operations run without interruption.The Procurement Manager will drive sourcing initiatives, secure competitive quotes for new projects and components, negotiate supplier agreements, and partner cross-functionally to ensure materials meet Multi-Pak&rsquo;s quality standards while continuously identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.RESPONSIBILITIES:Purchasing &amp; Sourcing&middot; Identify and qualify suppliers in alignment with Quality Assurance, negotiate supplier contracts, and secure materials at competitive rates.&middot; Develop sourcing plans, requests for proposals (RFPs), and supplier evaluation frameworks.&middot; Capable of evaluating customer demand by manipulating and analyzing forecast and purchase order data to support accurate planning and inventory decisions.&middot; Monitor supplier performance through scorecards to ensure quality, reliability, and sustainability.&middot; Ability to obtain competitive and timely quotes for new opportunities with analysis as to whom to recommend.&middot; Current on innovations in packaging materials and a thought leader on sustainable substrates and components.Requisition &amp; Order Management&middot; Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.&middot; Manage supplier lead times, part shortages, and production needs to ensure continuity of supply.&middot; Coordinate resolution of non-conforming materials.&middot; Maintain and assess supplier open order reports to ensure consistency with the Company&rsquo;s open order status and ensure product availability.Supplier &amp; Delivery Oversight&middot; Track and oversee supplier deliveries to ensure adherence to schedules.&middot; Build strong vendor relationships to meet cost, quality, and service expectations.Compliance &amp; Guidelines&middot; Ensure purchasing guidelines and corporate procurement standards are consistently followed.&middot; Promote compliance and procurement best practices across the organization.Analysis &amp; Continuous Improvement&middot; Track, analyze, and report on procurement metrics and spend data.&middot; Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and supplier innovation.&middot; Assess monthly procurement performance through KPI tracking of number of late or missing components, issues with PO&rsquo;s, cost savings and other measurable criteria.&middot; Develop a vendor matrix with detailed structure of procurement plans by component type.Cross-functional Collaboration&middot; Partner with client services, business development, operations, and quality teams to align procurement with business needs.&middot; Actively engage with project teams and customer-facing initiatives requiring procurement expertise.Project Leadership&middot; Lead or contribute to sourcing and procurement-related projects.&middot; Drive initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience and efficiencyQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:1. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in either business administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain &amp; Logistics2. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and specifically Excel3. 10+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, or Demand Planning areas in the Vitamin, Minerals and Supplement category.4. Clear and effective communication and presentation skills5. Advanced computer skills &ndash; Excel, PowerPoint, Fishbowl6. Strong quantitative and analytical skills7. Strong collaboration skills8. Strong negotiating, time management &amp; organization skills9. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively10.
