Robotic Technician

 QUALITY TECHNICIAN on 2nd SHIFT.

 Summary
 
 
 
 Act as a liaison between the Quality and Manufacturing groups. Audit, enforce and train other associates on all aspects of the quality policy. Should be self-directed and work well with minimal supervision.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 GD&amp;T &ndash; Must be able to read, interpret and understand blue prints
 </li>
 <li>
 General understanding &amp; knowledge of production processes and how parts are produced, and how characteristics impact downstream customers
 </li>
 <li>
 Hold non-conforming materials (use inventory management)
 </li>
 <li>
 Sort through non-conforming material as necessary to aid in disposition
 </li>
 <li>
 File and maintain in-process inspection reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Quality Engineers in performing capability studies, gauge R&amp;R&rsquo;s and analyzing process variances
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with running any extra testing required as part of validation process after quarantine
 </li>
 <li>
 Problem solve and work with operations on shift to determine root cause of material on hold, and make the appropriate changes to limit the amount of material placed on hold
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform control plan audits. Work with Quality Engineers to update control plans as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform Process/Product and LPA audits
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue gauges to production as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with or answer 8D assignments on customer rejects
 </li>
 <li>
 Update ICPs as needed for various programs as assigned
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to generate new form/work instructions/check-sheets
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer as assigned and with PPAPs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fill in for Quality Technician and Weld Analyst positions when needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have the ability to make quality decisions on production parts when necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with organization and set-up of outside sort or rework activities (Vendor)
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist and maintain internal sort criteria and instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect and input production information into Quality database.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School diploma or GED.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum two (2) years' general or specific experience in this field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Automotive industry experience PREFERRED.
