<div><div>Scope of Position:</div><div>
To ensure on time delivery of parts to the customers and maintain accuracy of customer release forecasts, production, and shipping schedules.</div><div>
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</div><ul><li>
Send weekly EDI releases to all vendors</li><li>
Create and execute a cycle count schedule</li><li>
Schedule carriers for pick up and delivery based on vendor schedules</li><li>
Schedule all production to meet customer releases</li><li>
Ensure finished good inventory is consistent to meet customer delivery schedules</li><li>
Inform suppliers of any discrepancies and issue DMN&rsquo;s as required</li><li>
Set up CSAs, CMIRs, Customer Packaging Instructions in SAP</li><li>
Cover Shipping Supervisor for absence and vacation</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Department Manager</li><li>
Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities</li><li>
Advise management of any potential problems or concerns and any opportunities for improvement</li><li>
Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable</li><li>
Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of MIOSHA</li><li>
Work in compliance and conform to Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards</li></ul><div>
BASIC REQUIREMENTS</div><ul><li>
Grade 12 or equivalent education</li><li>
Proven experience in:<ul><li>
Production planning &amp; scheduling (preferably in the automotive industry)</li><li>
Experience in Inventory Control</li><li>
Experience with Shipping/Receiving</li><li>
Solid knowledge of MRP systems and computers</li><li>
Excellent English communications skills both written and verbal.</li><li>
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision</li><li>
Able to successfully interact with all levels of employees in the organization</li><li>
Strong problem-solving techniques</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>
A valid Forklift license would be an asset, but training can be provided</li><li>
Must have no restrictions regarding travel to Canada (training will take place in Toronto area office)</li></ul></li></ul><div></div><div><i>
